Alyssa sighed softly to herself. She was never the outgoing girl at school because she never saw a real reason to be. None of the girls ever seemed to swing her way and she didn't ever want to get in a situation where she.. Well where she had a crush on a straight girl. Guess that plan is already down the shoot. She didn't really feel like talking to any guys at this school because they were normally only into girls sexually and she didn't want that.

She wasn't really a shy girl both she could do presentations just fine, worked well in groups when assigned, and she never had a problem with being kind to others. Although she never officially came out to the school or anyone she always felt like people could tell. She never really saw a need to come out, straight people didn't come up to someone and confess to being straight so why should she have to about being gay? If she ever got a girlfriend that would explain it right away.

"Hey. Alyssa right?" she heard a voice and she came out of her thoughts. When she looked up from her desk she saw a boy.

He was tall with dark brown shaggy hair and a somewhat bigger build. Not really on the 'heavy' side but more on the jock built side. His face had some freckles on it and his eyes were a piercing blue.
"Umm yeah. Sorry I don't know your name in return," she replied softly as she started to sit straight up in her seat. They were in second hour which for her was World Wars class.

It was an elective class that talked about the two world wars in American history. She didn't care for wars but she knew a lot since her dad was always talking about them and watching the war channel. Not many girls were in this class though because most girl's didn't pick it.
"Im Mike," the boy chuckled a bit as he leaned on her desk.

He had a bit of a goofy smile that seemed fake for some reason.

"Nice to meet you. So why did you come over here?" she asked. IT sounded ruder than she meant for it but she was honestly just curious. She looked around the class a bit and the teacher wasn't there, she wondered where he went.
"Well my buddy over there, Jordan, said he saw your post on Facebook," he explained a bit. He pointed to a boy over by where Mike sat. Another jock built guy with dark hair and darker skin than Mike. It always seemed they lived in an area with very people who weren't as pale as snow and she honestly wondered why. As Alyssa thought she realized he didn't continue on after that.
"Okay. What about it?" she replied a little confused.
"Well he thinks it means you're gay, another friend thinks you're bi and then I have a friend who just thinks you were doing it for attention, which I don't think that one, but was just curious." Mike was a bad actor. He laughed awkwardly after almost every word which really gave him away and she felt she knew where this might be going.
"I'm gay. Never felt like I needed to come out but if it clears things up, I am gay," she stated bluntly.

"Come on babe. You can't be completely gay. I mean look at the guys at this school, including me. How could you be surrounded by guys like us and still like girls?" he asked. This one didn't seem fake and it was slightly disgusting that he was asking this.
"The thing is I am not into guys. Sure you all may be attractive to other girls and I don't think you're ugly but you're missing some major things I like in a person," she replied. Her tone was starting to get a bit annoyed.
"Oh really? Well why don't you come over and see if you change your mind," he smirked and added a disgusting wink.

Alyssa wouldn't have ever found him disgusting before but since he wouldn't let it go and he thought her being gay was a choice, he immediately made her want to gag.
"Listen, "babe", I am not into you. I didn't choose to be gay I just am,
"Aww is the little fag getting angry??" he chuckled a bit. "Why would a gay girl like you? You look like a guy so if a girl wants yo she might as well go straight with someone more attractive."
"Well if I look so much like a guy why did you want to get me over?

Do you have feelings you can't express? It's okay to experiment honey," she said a bit teasingly to him which made him angrier. He pissed her off so she thought might as well piss him off.

"Look, princess, you might not want to test me. I was going to do you a favor, if you got with me then any guy would have thought you were good. I was doing you a favor," he was standing straight now and turning red. Alyssa honestly found it funny.
"Oh my! You would do a favor for a poor girl like me, what a gentleman! How about no. Id rather do things with any other guy than you, because even if I was straight or bi, you would still disgust me," she stared up at him with a slight smirk of enjoyment.
"You fucking dyke! I'm the disgusting one? You're the one going to hell for your sins!" he shot back at her.
"Oh I'm going there for more reasons than being gay because honestly the bible never exactly states I can't be. However, sex before marriage is a sin, so if I am there, I'll see you too," she smiled at him, "and I still won't give you a shot."
"I ought to just punch you! I mean you look like a dude and you like chicks so might as well be able to fight you." For some reason Mike seemed satisfied with this reply and like he won something.

Fine, I'm down for a fight," she replied. She use to go to the gym a lot out of boredom. She always wished she had brothers so she could have a cliche 'I learned to fight from them' thing but once when she was around 17 she realized she didn't need brothers to learn to fight, and if she ever got a girlfriend she wanted to protect her. Normally in the summer she went every day to lift some weights and to punch a punching bag or mess around in a boxing rink.
"Why are you so stubborn you..

You fag!" he replied to her and she chuckled a bit.

"You already used fag once, and before you get a little more pissed, you used dyke already too. try to come up with another term," she smirked.
"Damn you!" he finally yelled and grabbed the shoulder of her shirt to pull her out of the chair and onto the floor. She landed on her back and looked up at him as he laughed. She smirked a bit and swiped her foot to catch his ankle and bring him down too. She started to get up and noticed other students getting up to watch them.
"You already offered and I said no darling," she chuckled as she brushed her jeans off.

Mike then got up and went to punch her, but Alyssa stayed calm to keep her mind clear and dodge it like she did at the gym. It went on like this for a while since she didn't want to hit him first.
"How is she doing that?" she heard one of the boys say behind her.
"She's a butch gay, don't they always know how to fight and shit?" another guy chuckled a bit. Alyssa was starting to get sick of the stereotypes she was hearing.
"Actually I just enjoy going to the gym," she smirked a bit as she backed up from Mike a bit who already seemed out of breathe.
"Damned," Mike mumbled and Alyssa stood still a bit watching him.

"You are.. So, dumb," he growled and finally got a punch in. Alyssa lost her balance a bit and put her hand on her face. She wiped her nose of some blood and looked over at him. Her dad always said once you get punched you can go all out, and so she did. The rest of the fight was a blur. In the end they both ended up in the office, her nose bleeding and left eye a bit blue while his nose and lip bled and he held his stomach. They both told their side of the story and a few students did as well.

"You're both suspended for a while. Mike, 2 days, Alyssa 4," the principal told them.
"Why do I have more?" Alyssa asked a bit annoyed.
"Well you harmed him more, most people we asked seem to say you hit him more than he hit you," he explained.
"He was harassing me calling me a fag and a dyke. He threw me on the ground and all I did was dodge his punches! I didn't even hit him until he actually hit me!" she argued trying not to yell at him. "Plus, I'm not into the whole don't hit a girl thing because it should be equal yet he still did it. I tried to politely turn down and he kept pressuring me! Why is it okay for him to bully me and punch me but I can't punch back??"
"He told us he was trying to help. He said he knows you will be bullied for being gay so he wanted to help turn you. He said he wanted your parents to except you," the principal said reading from a clipboard.
"He knows nothing of my life. My dad does except me and loves me even if I'm gay. He was the first person to bully me. This is unfair!" she yelled at him. She knew arguing had no real use anymore but it just didn't seem right to her. Soon she was sent home and so was Mike.

First day of the week and she was already kicked out. Even though it was 2nd hour it didn't count as one of her days of suspension. So even though it was 4 days, she wouldn't be back until next Monday now. She had to be signed out by her dad and now she was in the car with him. It was quiet but not really awkward.
