She looked out the window and wondered why she had been feeling uneasy. She hadn't had this feeling in a while, not since Sahib's mother died.

Was it because of that servant?
That idiotic servant who didn't know her place.
What was it she said, something about being an angry vengeful Nigerian.
The nerve of that idiot.
She was such a little pest, a mere insect in her path. Just cause she caused Jadwa to cower in fear and had Sahib and Asad wrapped around her tiny fingers, she thought that she could use that and threaten her. She had no idea who she was up against. She who stood strong amidst the plans to kill her by many people of which included the previous Sultana, the former Sultan's mother and  concubines and many noble families.

But she had stood strong against them all and killed them as easily as killing bugs standing on her way. And now, this mere servant who was lower than a bug, had the guts to threaten her amidst her muteness.
Such nerve.
No one, not a single person had ever talked to her the way she did except of course her sons. How dare she.
What was worse was the feeling she had gotten from there.
Fear.

This was a foreign feeling to her. It was something she had forgotten about ever since she stepped into the palace under the guidance of Sahib's mother. And now, here she was, feeling afraid and uneasy.
Was it really because of that girl or was it something else.
Why was she so uncomfortable? What exactly was it that made her uncomfortable.

"Your grace, Muizzat seeks an audience." She heard Abida's voice.

She sighed. Finally, some news to get change her mood.
"Come in." She said still facing the window.

The door opened giving way to Muizzat and Abida to walk in. And the door was again closed shut.
Muizzat immediately fell on her her feet.

"News my Lady." She said.

"Go on with it." She said not once taking her eyes off the window that faced a small garden. She was watching a butterfly perch on one of her flowers.

"I followed them quietly and in disguise as planned and I witnessed a most horrendous sight."

Kareena still watched as the butterfly danced on the flowers as Muizzat narrated what she had seen.

"The Sultan rode with Sahiba seated in front of him and talked a bit with Prince Asad and some woman. Then...then..."

"Then what?" Kareena asked still watching the butterfly.

"The Sultan kissed Sahiba in the presence of all the servants. Everyone's talking about it even though Lady Ameena warned everyone not to."

Kareena tightened her fist and bit her lips till she drew fresh blood from it. Still, she didn't stop.

"H-he kissed her in public?" She asked.

"Yes, Your highness."

"And what did that servant do about it."

"She seemed to kiss him back. She wasn't at all surprised or annoyed by it."

"She kissed him back?"

"Yes, Your Majesty. I told you she was sly. She has your sons wrapped around her fingers and because of that kiss, a huge fight broke out between the Sultan and Prince Asad. It was then that we were all sent away and no one knows what happened after that."

Kareena was quiet, so quiet it terrified Muizzat and Abida. Still, Muizzat was happy to tell her the news. She knew that that would make her act faster in getting rid of that bitch.
Kareena released her fist as she watched the butterfly fly away.
She closed her eyes and took in deep breathes.
