It was early, early for her to be out but she knew she had to leave. Things were getting out of hand, things were quickly spiraling out of control.
For the first time in a long time, she was losing, losing everything.
Her authority, her power, the fear, her love.
And it was all because of that African servant girl.

She got into the car and commanded the driver to drive as fast as possible.
She had to leave immediately, before she lost it all.
She had to meet the families outside, pull some strings and if possible, arrange another meeting with the Al Harthi's Head.

She was thinking fast now. What would she do should they refuse to render any sort of help to her? What was going to be the next line of action.
Threat.
She would have to threaten Aliyyah, after all, she didn't want to lose her brother and she knew she wouldn't want Sahib to lose his brother either.

If only he hadn't lost his memory.

She tightened her fist.
What was she going to do?

If she uses the last card, that would be the end. They would end up killing her after making sure she lost everything.
She had to think fast.
What was she going to do?

Suddenly, a black convertible zoomed past theirs and stopped right in front of the cars in front of hers which had her guards. Her car also stopped abruptly after the first one did.
The guards quickly got down, five of them.
The driver of the car also alighted almost immediately and before anyone knew what was happening, they heard five gunshots and down the guards went, without an opportunity to retaliate.

The driver of her car who has also alighted got shot also. Immediately, she opened the door and got out and saw the witch herself.

Before her brain could boot, she heard the gunshot twice.
She felt the all familiar tight pressure on her lower abdomen.
Down she went as she tried to put pressure on the place she was shot.

"I warned you didn't I. But you've never been good at following orders."

"S-so you want to kill me?" She stammered.

"Well, I could. And guess what, nothing will happen. You'll die a slave that you are."

"You know if I die now, my trustees will hand the letter and tape to them, to them all. You will lose your brothers."

"Your threat doesn't work on me at all Rena. At the end of the day, they will find out exactly who they are and your role in their lives. That doesn't bother me, they'll still be my brothers no matter what. But then again, what's the fun in that. You'll only be a hero in death. If you're alive however, you'll be hated. That is what I derive pleasure in."

"They won't hate me, not after they find out what a horrible person you are."

Aliyyah's face turned cold.
"You made me this way Rena. I loved you once, as my own, as my family." And Aliyyah thought of how she had loved her the way a man would a woman. How she had wanted to betray everything and everyone just to be with her.

"And I hated you."

"Yes. Just the same way Sahib hates you now."

"He won't when he finds out that he was actually the one that killed his mother to save my life. And the fact that you knew all along. You even watched as your own mother bled to death. You could have treated her, stopped her bleeding, anything. But you left her there and watched her die."

Aliyyah was quiet.

"You're as much your mother's killer as he is. And you had the right to blame me, to let him hate me for something I had no hand in. Your evil mother tried to kill me and our child, but you wouldn't have any of that. You killed your own nephew, your own nephew."
