Talia
"Mister Kamski is having his daily swim. You're welcome to join him if you'd like." Chloe smiled as she walked me back into the room with the pool.
"Oh it's okay, I didn't bring a suit." I reply, hoping that we could leave sooner than later. She nods and looks to Elijah.
"I'll go get you one." She walks off to another room to grab a bathing suit. I watch him swim from one side to the other in the pool. His arms hitting the water with great force.
Chloe walks back into the room and hands me a swimming suit. I was hesitant to take it into my hands, but I ended up just thanking her and changing in the bathroom.
It was a black suit that had a open space in the middle that was in the shape of a diamond.
I dipped my feet into the pool and felt the warm water surround my feet.
"Hello again, Talia. I wasn't expecting you so early." Kamski spoke as he swam closer to me. He planted his feet on the ground of the pool and rested right next to me.
"Hey. Yeah someone bro- I mean I just woke up early." I felt like an idiot. Who the fuck messes that up. Oh my fuck.
"That doesn't sound like the truth. I'm not your father, I'm not gonna scold you." Elijah laughed. It's not like I can cover up what I said. I mentally face palmed and rolled my eyes.
"An Android and a kid broke into our house this morning. I gave them clothes and sent them on their way. My dad was still asleep and if he knew what I did he'd be pissed out of his mind." I explained and kicked my feet under the water.
"Hmm. Sounds like you helped a deviant." He smirked to me as he stood in front of me.
"Why don't you get into the water, it's warm." He gets lower and lower into the water as he spoke. I didn't want to get in the water. It's cool and all that, especially because he keeps it red, but I wasn't feeling up to it.
He walks closer to me with a hint of mischief in his blue eyes. As fast as lighting he grabs my waist and pulls me into the water. I always viewed him as a proper man, but in a way I'm glad he's not all the time. It makes it easier to be around him. I came up to the surface with a smile painting my face.
"I wasn't expecting that." I laughed and tucked my hair behind my ear. He chuckled at my redness. He's fucking lucky I didn't wear any makeup today, and that he's Elijah Kamski.
I splashed him with a smirk and watch the water hit his skin.
"I deserved that." He shrugged and called one of his Chloe's over with a snap of his fingers. She came over in her swimsuit and stood by his side. "Fetch us some drinks would you?" He orders her and looks back to me.
"You Are aloud to drink right?" He asked as Chloe climbed out of the water.
"Oh, um y-yes. I'm 28." I stuttered out. He wasn't sure to trust my answer, but he nodded anyways. What's he gonna do anyways. Mostly everyone drinks before they're 21 anyways.
"So, you're here for your mom, correct?" He inquired as he grabbed the champagne glasses from Chloe. He hands me one and awaits my response.
"If I'm being completely honest, and you can't fucking kill me for my answer, I'm here to be with you. Also, because I want to meet my dickhead mom." I respond with all honesty. He raised his eyebrows and took a sip of his liquid.
"And it's not like I want to hang out with you because you're rich or whatever the fuck, but it's because you're genuinely... A nice person to hang around with." He smirked but tried to cover it with another drink.
"Your Mom is a dickhead." He laughed.
It was amusing to see him laugh. The way his lips curled up before he laughed, his smile, and how charming his laugh really was.
"Anyways, why don't we get going." He says and sets his glass down on the side of the pool. I barely drank anything but he insisted we finished. He let me get out first and I felt somebody pulling a robe around me from behind. At first I thought it was Chloe, but it was Elijah. He winked and gesture me to go get changed.
I slipped back into my white ripped jeans and black turtleneck with ease and walked back into the living room. It was interesting seeing him in normal clothes. He dressed in a t-shirt and regular jeans. I have no clue on why I thought he was such a proper being. He slipped on his jacket as so do I.
We walk outside into the blizzard and hurry into his car.
"Are you sure you're ready for this?" He takes the car out of park and drives out of his driveway.
"Of course. I'm as ready as I'll ever be." I sighed as we started to drive back into Detroit.
"I just have to warn you, I get bored easily." He turned to me with a grin and turned up the radio. I turned to him as the song sounded through the car.
"Put it in drive, I'll be outside, I'll be on the way. I'll be on the way
You can meet me in five, I'll be online, I'll be a-all day!" Me and Elijah sing out to the song. I've never felt more comfortable before. I knew I sucked at singing, but i wanted to make memories right now.
We continued to sing songs all the way until we got to a tall business building. He turns off his car and stares up to the building with squinted eyes.
"Let's hit it." He gets out of the car and walks around to my side. I picked up my bags and turn to open my door, but see he already did it for me.
"Thank you." I hummed and climbed out of the car. He shuts the door and tucks his hands into his coat pockets.
"So, my moms name is Grace?" He nods and calls for the elevator.
"Talia, you know, after you get out of your shell, you're pretty cut-cool." He stuttered in the middle. I blushed deeply and stared at the elevator doors.
"Thanks." I say once more as the elevator doors open. What the fucking fuck. How many times can I say fuck? The fuck? Oh god. I'm scared. I'm gonna be totally mortified. She's not gonna wanna see me! Why did I come! I can't back out now, Elijah took his time to bring me here, it would be unreasonable to go back now. Elijah opens the door and I'm met with an empty waiting room.
"I'm scared." I admit, looking up to Elijah. He wraps his arm around my shoulder and looks to the lady at the desk.
"Can I speak to, Grace Amone?" He questioned the woman with such a gaze.
The woman looks up to Kamski with a glimmer in her eyes. It's only now I realize she's an android.
"Welcome back, Mister Kamski." She smiled and picks up the phone to call my mother. Elijah could tell I was nervous by the way I was breathing.
"Hey, you're going to be fine. The worst that could happen is that she... No-Um you'll be fine." He tried to reassure me but failed. My hands shook as a door opened.
"She's in room 12. Good luck you two." The android smiled and shooed us off into the hallway. We counted the numbers until we reached a closed door.
"Miss Amone." The door read along with a number 12. My shaking hands grabbed the handle and twisted until it started to open.
