-Elijah Kamski
—————"Elijah..." I sighed as my dad was already out the door. He smiled to me and held the door open for me. "All I want to know is if everything is okay." I explain and stood outside on his ramp leading up to his door.
"Everything is okay. If I was in danger or trying to hide something from you I would've told you. Here. You'll need these. I hope you get better soon, Tal." He hands me Pill bottle he had earlier. I grab the bottle and look up to him with appreciation. I waved to him as i started to walk away. He closes the door with a smile as I stand next to the car door. I looked down into the window and saw my dad in the passenger seat. Hank rolls down the window with a mischievous smirk painting his pale face.
"You're driving me home. I drove you here three times now. Get in the fucking car." Hank demands as I walk around to get in the drivers seat. I start up the car and instantly feel how freely the car drives. I pull out the driveway and get onto the road. My dad laughs and turns up the radio. I glare to him and shake my head. We stop at a light and I hook up my phone. "What the fuck Talia?" He asked as my music sounded through the car.
"Dad, as you always said, driver gets to pick the music." I smiled and turned the music up louder. He scuffs and turned down the music so he could talk more.
"I only said that so I didn't have to hear this stupid shit." He isn't winning this argument. Might as well switch the argument while I can.
"Dad, why the fuck do you always pretend like you don't care about me? do you realize how scary that can be for me?" Hank rolled his eyes and looked out his window. He was avoiding the question as best as he could.
"Because Talia. I'm an asshole. Is that what you want to hear?" Hank finally answered with a shouting voice. I swerved the car from fright and almost hit another car.
"Well no shit, I already knew that!" I shout back to him. We both cooled off and turned my music back down. I sighed deeply as I continued to drive.

"Talia. You know I don't do it to make you feel like shit. You know I care for you." Hank apologizes in his own way. Talia nods and keeps her eyes on the road. She had nothing to say. It didn't matter if he had good intentions, they still did not come out the way.
"Okay dad." She responded. This car drive was already off to a fantastic start. Talia stopped at another light and Saw a familiar Android cross the street. Dawson. She watched him walk with wonder. He looked to Talia with the same expression. She hoped that Dawson was living the best life he could. Though he is being hunted down by many departments. Deviancy isn't being let go easily. They treat them as if they are objects. Killing the android instead of giving it the same sentence as a human would get is bullshit. Or that't what Talia thinks.
_______
Talia gets out of the car as she sees the sight of her dads home. Hank groans and pulls himself out of the car. Talia unlocks the house door and steps inside. Her dad follows close behind as Sumo attacks Talia with kisses. He's usually not a dog to do so, But i guess he makes an excption for Talia. She falls onto the couch and sets the pill bottle on the side table. Hank joins her and switches on the TV. Another one of his games were on. Talia hated every sport her dad liked. Talia gets off the coach and does something she hasn't done in a while. She climbs into her dads empty bed and pulls up the covers. Sumo comes into the room and lays down with her. She had to admit, her dads bed was extremely comfortable. She missed the days when she was younger when her and her dad would spend the day together and actually get along. Her dad was so much better with her when she was younger. She would sleep in his bed a lot after her mom left. It made her feel more comfortable. At first Hank had felt weird about her sleeping in the same bed as him, but finally came around to it after talia told him the reason why.
______
Talia opened her eyes and heard snoring right next to her. She sat up and saw her dad hugging Sumo with his hairy arms. She smiles and pushed down her hair that was tangled. She looked to her phone and saw a misses call and three text's from a certain Kamski.
-Tal call me back when you can.
-are you even alive?
- I saw that you were driving Hank home, I Don't trust you drivingTalia rolled her eyes and went out of the room so her father could sleep peacfully. She calls Elijah and hears it ring a few times. "Hello?" he answered as if he didn't check the caller ID.
"Hey. What do you need?" Talia asked as she felt her stomach turn. She took one of the pills with no water to wash it down.
"Can you come by today? I have something I want to show you." Talia's initial reaction was to immediately say yes but after yesterday, she wasn't sure what to say. She stayed silent like a fucking idiot. "Talia?" she sucked in her lips out of nervousness.
"I don't know yet..." Talia answered and mentally face palmed. Elijah sighed and made a popping noise in his mouth. "I-I have work today." Elijah could tell she felt uncomfortable.
"Talia, I know yesterday was quite strange, but i assure you that everything was okay. I just have a surprise I didn't want you too see yet. I'm sure you'll love it." Talia fell for what he said. There was still some parts of her that wanted to say no but the other part of her didn't care.
"I'll be over soon." Talia hung up the phone immediately. She grabbed her gun off the table and stuffed it into her jacket. She wasn't taking any risks with this. Elijah was being sketchy and Talia wasn't about to trust him so soon.
