-Elijah Kamski
———
Talia drooled over her food for the first time in a week. The bags under her eyes started to decrease as the sleep she needed was coming soon. She set down the remnants of her food and leaned her head against the seat. For once, mellow music filled the car as they drove. Hank looked over to his daughter with happiness. She was finally able to breath freely. The snow had finally stopped falling as they entered Detroit again.

"Dad?" Talia asked as she sat up in the car. Her dad turned down the AC and looked over to his daughter with curiosity. "I don't feel good..." She held her head with her hand as she slumped back into the seat. Hank pulls the car over and looks Talia in the eyes. He could tell by Talia's eyes that she wasn't lying.

"What's wrong Tal?" Hank pushes her hair out of her face that was stuck in place by her cold sweat. Talia shrugged and held her own arms. When Hank felt her head he instantly retracted his hands from the heat.

"You're sweating a lot." Hank stated the obvious and looked at the google maps. "Fucking hell. The closest place is Kamski's place." Hank sighed and shook his head out of rage. Elijah's place was still twenty minutes away.

"Well, get a move on, I feel like i'm dying from the inside out." Talia motioned his dad to move the car. Hank pulls out from the side of the road and drives as fast as he could to Kamski's palace.

"Fuck off!" Hank cursed and flipped off other drivers as he sped towards Elijah's house. For some reason the roads started to get crowded more than usual. Talia groaned out of pain and held herself in her arms.

———
Hank pulls into Elijah's driveway and unbuckled Talia. He runs to the other side of the car and held her up. He couldn't carry her, he's getting too old for that. He helps her walk to the door and exhales deeply. Talia grabs the door handle and pushes it open with all her strength. Chloe runs to her aid and helps her back to her feet. "Talia? What's brought you back so soon?" Chloe asked and looked to an out of breath Hank. Talia shakes her head and points to the main room that her and Elijah saw each other last in. "Mister Kamski!" Chloe called out to him and sets me down in a chair. Another Model brings me a wet rag to place onto my sweaty forehead.
Elijah walks into the room with his glasses resting on his nose.

"Talia... Whats wrong?" Elijah asked with an unsettling tone of voice. Talia shook her head and uncovered her tattooed arms. She was dying of heat. Elijah grabs her hand and stared into her foggy green eyes with his bright blue ones.

"I feel like I'm dying." Talia closes her eyes and tried to release all the demons.
Elijah shook his head and turned to Hank. Elijah looks to Chloe and motioned her to leave.

________

Talia

I hold onto Elijah's hand and open my eyes again. He stared at me with a blank expression. It's as if Elijah had no feelings at all. "Are you okay?' I asked. I was worried about his well being. I knew I was in pain but Elijah was making me feel strange. Elijah nods with a curios Expression. Chloe walks into the room with water and a first aid box. Elijah helps me drink the water as Chloe opens the box to find what we needed. She pulls out a Thermometer and sticks it into my mouth. Don't take that shit out of context. It beeped loudly as it stopped. Chloe looked at the number displaying itself on the item.

"You have a 101.2 Temperature." Chloe sets down the item and sets it back into the box. Elijah grabs another bottle from the box. "Those are very strong, sir." Chloe warned while looking over the bottle. Elijah opens the bottle and pours out two pills. He helps me take the pills down with water. I cough up some water and feel the pills slide down my throat.

"Elijah?" I call out to  him as water dripped down from my chin and forehead. He takes down the wet towel from my head and drops it in Chloe's palms. He takes a dry towel from the box and wipes away the water I coughed up.

"Is she okay?" Hank asked Elijah as he stands up to his feet. Elijah shrugs and looks down to me.

"She should be. Those pills I gave her should take away the pain." Elijah answered and looks to Chloe. Chloe smiled to Elijah and to Hank with an unsettling feeling. I looked to my dad with a cautious look. He nods with his eye brows furrowed.

"Elijah, is everything okay here?" My dad asked and tucked his hands into his coat pockets. Elijah turned to Hank with a nod.

"Of course, Lieutenant." Elijah puts his arms behind his back. I sat up in the chair As the feeling of sickness started to dissipate.
"Chloe, can you get me some water?" I grind my teeth together and get off from my seat. I grab his jacket from the front and stared into his blue eyes. He stared back with one eyebrow raised.

"What are you hiding?" I question him as my hands shook from feeling like shit. He shakes his head with confusion. "When you had to hide me, you told Chloe to go get you water. That's code for hiding something.
What are you hiding?" My dad stared at the two of us not knowing exactly what to do.

"Nothing." He responded with his usual tone. I shook my head and pushed him out of my grasp. "Check my house if you'd like, there's nothing here." Elijah spread his arms open.

"Elijah, you can trust me! You know that. Why do you need to hide things from me?" Elijah shook his head like he didn't know what I was talking about. I hit my thighs with my hands in frustration. I knew he had to be hiding something, because Chloe still wasn't back.

"Nothing is here. I promise you."

"You sure?"

"I'm absolutely certain. You can trust me."
