Jed was a country boy at heart.

He grew up in Oklahoma on a farm.

His parents, Bob and Nan, 45, were farmers. They liked the outdoors; Jed also liked the outdoors.

He had short, brown hair, brown eyes, and tall.

Going to Camp Crystal Lake was his first big trip away.

But he was going to enjoy himself; he was a man now. And it time to grow up.

Jed wore the CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE T-shirt, brown shorts, brown socks, and brown shoes. And a cheap brown colored watch on his right hand.

He passed the CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE sign, and shivered, even though it was a warm, summer's morning.
