Jed saw the barn.
He smiled.
Once he opened the front entrance, he saw the hay. He played with the bales. It was like home. He saw a brown colored ladder.
The ladder lead up to the attic.
Jed noticed other things: the pitchforks; the axes; the hammers; the spears; and other weapons. The attic had been around for a long time.
He looked around.
Noone was in the attic.
Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps. They were coming towards Jed. He turned around. He didn't see anyone.
