The next morning, Tai got up bright and early today was his last day in Boston by the afternoon he would be heading back to Japan, so he decided to make the most of it. He quickly put away the sleeping bag making sure not to wake up Scarlet and Guilmon. He quickly left the room and made sure he wasn't spotted from any of Scarlet's family because he already knew how they were. Once he was able to leave the house he went back to his hotel room. He packed up his things and took a shower to get ready for the day because today he had a very special plan for Scarlet. Scarlet was next to wake up early, she looked around the room in confusion.

'Hmmm that was strange, I could have sworn I heard movements like someone else is in here'

She thought but then shrugged it off. Guilmon was next to wake up, he smiled at Scarlet as he saw she was awake.

"Good morning Scarlet"

He said with a smile. Scarlet smiled in return.

"Good morning Guilmon"

She said cheerfully. Guilmon then turn his head to the side.

"Good morning Tai"

He said but then notice he wasn't there.

"Hmmm that's strange?"

"What's strange?"

She asked.

"Tai had slept over, but now he's gone"

"He what?!"

She asked angrily. Guilmon then looked back to Scarlet and raised both his hands in surrender.

"Its not what you think, he was helping me and like you said it's dangerous to be out in the street at night, so I let him stay here for the night. Plus he helped me organized your pills"

He said as he got up and showed Scarlet the container. Scarlet was surprise.

'He really remembers my medication?'

She thought with a soft warm feeling to her heart.

'But then why did he leave?'

She thought sadly. She then notice Guilmon was staring at her.

"That was sweet"

She said simply trying to play it off as if it didn't mean anything to her but Guilmon just smirk at her.

"You still love him don't you?"

He asked. Scarlet softly smiled.

"I honestly don't know what I feel, a part of me is scared and another part is telling me that I'll be moving to fast"

"But it's not like you guys just met yesterday"

He said.

"I know but..."

She said trailing off when she heard soft music, she look to Guilmon.

"You hear that?"

She asked. Guilmon ears picked up the sound.

"Yeah"

Scarlet got out of the bed and went to her balcony and looked down and gasp at the sight. Tai was smiling up at her on her lawn with a boom box playing soft music but that wasn't what made her gasp, Tai was in a center of a big heart shape created by rose petals. Tai waited for the song to finish, as he went to climb up to her balcony and hold a rose to Scarlet who was blushing and shyly took the rose before giving it a sniff. Before Scarlet can respond her legs gave up on her and Tai easily caught her, by the mistaken pill it still had an effect on her for 24hrs. He placed Scarlet back down on bed as Tai was on his knees brushing her hair back with his hand. She looked at him

"Thank you"

"No problem"

"You know usually when people think when someone is taking some mental pills they consider them crazy"

"You're not crazy, you just been through a lot"

He said with a smile.

"Thanks"

"You're welcome"

Tai then stood up causing Scarlet to sit up a little

"Where are you going?"

"To the airport, today's my last day"

Scarlet's heart broke at those words and without thinking she said something that she thought she would never say.

"No don't go"

She pleaded.

"But I'm already broke as it is, i don't have enough to stay for another day"

Tai said with a sad smile, even though in the inside he was surprise by her outburst.

"Then i'll give you money just stay for a few days more"

She said lowly. Tai looked at Scarlet for a few minutes. He really did wanted to be by her side that was the only reason why he came in the first place for he can be with her again.

"Okay then, I'll just call my mom and tell her I'll be here for a few more days"

Scarlet nodded as Tai went to use his phone. Guilmon then walked to Scarlet and jumped on her bed.

"Are you sure that was a good idea?"

He asked.

"I honestly don't know but he did defended us from my evil sisters, I might as well give him a chance right? Besides I'm doing the exact same thing Tai was doing back at Odaiba. He was avoiding the issue and now I'm avoiding the issue, I can't be like that it will just leave a big gap in between"

Guilmon nodded his head in understanding. Tai then walked up to them on the edge of the bed.

"Okay I have three more days, now I just want to tell you guys how sorry I really am. Scarlet I still love truly I do and I know it just takes seconds to say 'I love you' but a lifetime to show it. Guilmon I'm sorry that I betrayed your trust but I will make it up to you, the both of you."

Tai said sincerely. Guilmon and Scarlet looked at each other with a smile.

"Okay, we'll give you a second chance just don't mess it up okay"

Scarlet said with a smile. Tai smiled wide in return.

"Yeah you got it, I give you my word"

"Good and for the three days, you'll be staying with us"

"Sounds good um but first I need to head back to my hotel for I can get my suitcase"

"Sure, the door will be open for you"

Tai nodded with a smile and went to the door until Scarlet called him.

"And Tai"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you"

Tai smiled at her.

"No thank you for the second chance"

He said as he left out the door.
