Three days have passed and no sign of Tai which Scarlet and Guilmon were relieved. It was night time and they were currently coming back home. Scarlet was opening the door until someone called out her name. Scarlet let out a sigh as she closed her eyes.

'Please don't tell me that's Tai'

She thought. Guilmon turned around and growled.

"Its him"

He said angrily. Scarlet let out another sigh as she looked up at the sky.

'Man someone must really hate me up there'

She thought before turning around to face Tai.

"Again seriously?"

She said annoyed.

"I know you don't want to see me..."

"I don't want to see you ever, why can't you get it through your thick skull and go home its dangerous out here in the streets"

She said as she opened the door letting her and Guilmon in but before Scarlet had a chance to close the door Tai put his foot in between the door.

"I'm not leaving"

Tai said with a grunt of pain as Scarlet tried slamming the door.

"Oh what now you have another guy coming inside the house slut?"

Said a voice. Scarlet and Guilmon and Tai looked to see it was Scarlet's older sisters Mandy and Deliah.

"What's a matter you got tired of fucking your digimon?"

Deliah asked with a smirk. Scarlet glared at her two sisters angrily but said nothing, Guilmon got in front of her but even Guilmon was more surprise when Tai got in front of him opening his arms wide blocking Scarlet's sisters from coming any closer to them.

"Leave them alone"

He said sternly. The sisters just scoffs.

"You can't tell us what to do"

Deliah said flipping her hair.

"Yeah and besides wouldn't you want to play with someone that's much tighter than that bitch right there behind you because I'm sure her digimon already torn her up in between her legs"

Mandy said with her hands on her hips. The two girls began to laugh. Scarlet felt down and Guilmon was getting angry but Tai stand his ground not wanting to cause a fight.

"She's your sister you shouldn't treat her like that and besides she's more beautiful then the both of you"

Tai said with a smirk of his own as he slightly looked back to see Scarlet blushing since it has been a long time since he last saw her blush.

"Come on let's go"

Tai said leaving the two sisters stunned. They got to Scarlet's room, once inside Scarlet broke down crying and Guilmon tried his best to comfort her. Tai stood by the side as he sadly watched her cry.

'Its because of me, she's starting her nightmare all over again. I should have known better, I don't deserve to be right here with her'

He thought sadly as he made his way to the door but Guilmon called his name.

"Tai"

Tai stopped to look.

"Stay. I'm sure Scarlet would appreciate it after standing up for us"

Tai sadly smile and nodded. Once Scarlet pulled herself together she looked to Tai with a sad smile with tears stain.

"Thank you"

She said and looked to Guilmon.

"Hand me my anxiety pill please"

Guilmon nodded and went to retrieve her pill and a glass of water. After taking the pill, in less than 30 minutes Scarlet was in deep asleep on the bed. Guilmon was confused because the anxiety pill wasn't meant to put her to sleep but to help her relax. He looked at the bottle in his hand and gasp.

"Uh oh"

He said nervously. Tai looked to Guilmon.

"What do you mean 'Uh oh'?"

He asked.

"I accidentally gave her the wrong pill"

"Let me see"

Tai said as he looked through the medication and read it and nodded.

"Okay I see, we'll put the pills in order for you can easily know which one to give her next time"

He said as he began to sort through the pills and placing them in order. Guilmon had his eyes on Tai in surpise.

"You already know her pills?"

"Yeah I do, back when we were dating"

He said with a smile after he was done. Guilmon went over to Scarlet and took off her shoes and covered her up with a blanket.

"Will she be okay?"

He asked concern. Tai smiled at him.

"Yeah she'll be fine in the morning. Okay I'm gonna start heading out now..."

"Wait"

Guilmon said as Tai went to the door and stopped.

"Yeah"

"I just want to say thank you for standing up for us and helping me with the pills"

"No problem"

"In return how about you stay here for the night, after all the city is dangerous after dark"

Guilmon said. Tai looked uncertain.

"Are you sure that it would be okay because I don't want to cross any boundaries"

"Don't worry I'll explain to Scarlet tomorrow"

Guilmon said as he happily went to the closet and took out a sleeping bag. Tai smiled in gratitude.

"Thanks"

"No thank you, I really appreciate it and besides maybe this can be the step for me on forgiving you"

"Really?"

"Yeah for my part but I don't know about Scarlet"

Tai nodded with a smile. As he took off his shoes and got into the sleeping bag while Guilmon went to turn off the lights as settle into his own bed.

"Tai?"

"Yeah"

"Why did you came over?"

"For I can try to win Scarlet back"

"Why?"

"Because I didn't realize what I had until its gone"

He said with a sigh.

"I don't think so"

Guilmon said plainly. Tai turned his head to look to Guilmon with a frown.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that many people know what they already have, they just didn't thought they would ever lose it. Well goodnight"

"Goodnight"

Tai said lowly before he looked to the ceiling thinking about what Guilmon had said.

'Is Guilmon right? Did I really take Scarlet's love for granted? Scarlet was right I treated her just the same way as her family'

He thought sadly as he remembered all the words he told her back in Odaiba, that made him feel 10 times worse.
