The next day, Scarlet decided to walk around the city and do something shopping, even though Guilmon didn't want to go but he promised himself he would be there with her all day. Scarlet was getting dress in the bathroom while Guilmon waited. It didn't take long for Scarlet to come out wearing a simple light blue short sleeve shirt with light blue jeans shorts and white sneakers.

"Okay I'm ready"

She said as she put on some black shade glasses on top of her head. Guilmon grabbed his shades and put it on looking at Scarlet with a smile as he nodded. As they were out on the city taking a stroll and stopping at clothes stores to see if anything catches Scarlet's attention. After hours of shopping and eating at the food court at the mall, Scarlet decided it was time to go back home.

"Man, I thought it would never be over"

Guilmon complained as Scarlet giggled as she took out the house key for to unlock the door when someone shouted her name.

"Scarlet!"

Someone yelled. Scarlet turned around and frown at the person. Guilmon turned and growled as he saw who it was.

"Stay away from me Tai"

Scarlet said sternly.

"Please just hear me out"

Tai said desperately.

"You haven't returned my phone call and I had to literally go to your fan club to know where you live"

"Congratulations, now leave me alone"

Scarlet said as she turned back around and began to unlock the door.

"Please, I want us to be together again"

Scarlet froze at those words and turned back around to face Tai.

"Is this a joke?"

Tai took one step forwards but Guilmon took a step forward in case he tries to get closer to Scarlet.

"No, please I realized I made a big mistake and I'm here to apologize"

"I don't want your apology. I want you out of my life"

"I know you don't mean that"

"You don't know me, I've changed"

"We can still make this work"

"You are not even listening to me. Do you have any idea what you did to me? What you put me through. It started all over again the voices, the shame, I needed help again. Going to a therapist was the last thing I ever wanted to do but you forced me to"

Scarlet said angrily keeping her temper in check as tears gathered in her eyes.

"I can't no longer sleep at night anymore without getting flashbacks of what you did to me. I need to take pills just for to keep myself from going nuts. You made me feel dirty like I was worthless. I'm a mess because of you. I needed time on my own, I honestly never thought I'd need you there when I cry and the days feel like years when I'm alone. Its better that you're gone because I'm trying to escape reality and live my dream"

She said as tears trail down her cheek. Tai sadly put his head down as he felt more guilt as Scarlet spoke her heart out.

"I will never be okay"

Tai sadly lift up his head.

"I'm trying to make this right"

"Nobody asked you to make anything right the damaged is done and over with now, I just got to live with my life with the scar knowing for a fact that my family was right all along. I'm a slut, I'm a whore, I'm a bitch, I'm everything but I see no proof of any of that. You are no better than my family, you are just like them. I don't even know what you are even doing here just go back home"

She said a she wiped her tears and turned around to open the door. She got inside with Guilmon right behind her, before she closed the door she looked to Tai who was still standing there just a few meters away.

"Maybe I can be a cure..."

He stated but Scarlet cut him off.

"No. You're a curse not a cure"

She said as she closed the door before Tai even had a chance to say anything. Guilmon and Scarlet made it up the stairs to the room without even bumping into any of her family members. Scarlet went to her window to see Tai still standing in her walkway but soon he walked away with his head hanged low. Scarlet closed her eyes as she leaned her forehead against the glass as she cried. Guilmon quickly went to the bathroom to attrive some tissues for Scarlet. Scarlet smiled sadly as she grabbed the tissue. She wiped her tears and made her way to the bed and sat down. Guilmon sadly rubbed her back.

"Guilmon what's wrong with me?"

She asked in a low voice.

"Nothings wrong with you"

"Then why is it that when I see Tai it makes me feel so warm inside but angry on the outside"

"Because your body doesn't know how to react. You're mad and sad"

He said trying to cheer her up. Scarlet wiped away her tears.

"Hand me my pills"

She said lightly. Guilmon let out a sigh as he went to get the pills, to be honest he didn't like the fact she was taking the pills even though it helps her but it puts her to sleep a lot. He looked at the medicine bag and then to Scarlet before handing it to her.

"Scarlet I don't like it when you take the pills"

"I know, I do too"

Guilmon was surprise by the responds.

"Then why take them, nobody has to know"

"But they do blood counts on me for to make sure I'm taking the medicine but it really does help me, you know that"

"It makes you sleep a lot is that your way of escaping reality?"

"Sort of, to be honest I would rather much sing then take these pills but it helps a lot more"

"Okay"

He said in defeat putting his ears down. Scarlet smiled as she rubbed the top of his head in comfort.
