"When did these nightmares occur?"

"I do but I want some time in order for us to rebuild our trust. Plus in the back of my mind I'm scared that he'll probably do it again. Will he do it again?"

She asked nervously. Dr. John looked at her and shook his head.

"I'm sorry Scarlet but I can't answer that for you but from what you're telling me is that there is this barrier that was build between you two that caused you both to have doubts and the only way to fix it is by communication, trust, effort and understanding"

Scarlet let out a sigh.

"He helps me"

"Helps you how?"

"He knew how my mind worked. He was understanding about my situation and my past. I guess when he did what he did to me, he completely forgot and now I can see he is trying, he is sorting out my pills for me. He wanted to know how I felt after what happened, he even told me about how he felt and now he's here"

"Here?"

"He's in the waiting room"

Dr. John was surprise and stood up.

"Would you mind if I let him for the session because I would really like to talk to him as well but that's only if your okay with it?"

Scarlet smiled slighty

"Sure. Its fine"

He went to the door and opened it and motion for Tai who was sitting on the chair to come in. Tai was confused but nonetheless follwed the order. The doctor shook his hands with Tai.

"You must be Tai"

"Yeah that's me"

"Please come and sit"

He said motioning him to come and sit next to Scarlet who was sitting on a couch. The doctor went back to his chair in front of Tai and Scarlet.

"Scarlet told me a lot about you Tai"

Tai began to get nervous.

"Y-yeah"

"She even told me about your incident with her"

Tai's eyes immediately opened wide.

"Wait please sir understand..."

But the doctor raised his hand and Tai immediately became silent.

"Relax, I just wanted to talk. In complete honesty I should have reported it but Scarlet made me promised and its is doctor and patient privileges after all. Scarlet told me that she's been having nightmares about you"

"Really?"

He asked as he looked to Scarlet who bite her lip looking away.

"It was about the incident and she's afraid it will happen again"

"I know I caused a whole great amount of stress to her but I'm trying to earn back her trust."

"Uh huh and do you also know that we had to start our progress all over again"

Tai remain quiet and cast his eyes down and nodded.

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be"

Tai looked up at the doctor in surprise.

"Scarlet said she loves you but she's afraid. Tell me if you and Scarlet get back together, what would you do different?"

"I would be more understanding, reasonable and trust her with my whole heart without hesitation."

He said truthfully.

"But today is my last day with her and I'm going back to Japan. I really want to make this work between us that's why we are just friends for now. We made a truce to be friends until we fix our trust and then start a relationship"

"This will do you both some good"

Scarlet and Tai looked at the doctor confused.

"What?"

They said together.

"Simple, you both say you love each other and want to make it work. This separation can make the heart grow stronger"

"You mean a long distance relationship?"

Scarlet asked.

"No not a relationship but a start of a friendship eventually the love will come back and you both will want to be together again. I would suggest talking on the phone or sending mail letters or e-mail"

Tai then looked to Scarlet who was looking back at him.

"Tai are you willing to wait for me?"

She asked looking into his eyes.

"I will wait forever for you"

He said sincerely.

"Our friendship will just have to stay for now"

"I won't mind until our trust grows back and then we can start a relationship"

The doctor nodded as he looked at his watch.

"Okay thats a wrap. I really do hope this works about between you two because Tai nobody has patience for a person that has been through a lot and from what I hear you are very understand and their is not that many people out there like you. Take care and good luck to both of you. Scarlet here is your prescriptions refills and tell the...."

"Receptionist to give her the appointment"

Tai said cutting him off with a smile as he grabbed the paper and opened the door for Scarlet. Dr. John smiled them and waved.

"Thanks. Bye"

They said together.

"Bye"
