      well i'm not sure what this phone call is about but vanessa sure is acting strange about it , like i mean i know she's weird but never this weird about a phone call . anyway , i guess i'll find out later .

vanessa and i have been sitting here for like 20 minutes and she hasn't been eating or really paying attention . i hope she's okay .

"umm earth to vanessa ." i said waving my hand in front of her face . she tilted her head and looked at me like she was trying to solve a puzzle .

"why'd you do that baby ?" she asks

"because you wasn't listening to me or really doing anything but staring . are you okay ? i'm worried ." i said grabbing her hands . she flinched and pulled her hand away from me quickly .

"i'm sorry . c-can we just go home ? i'm not really in the mood anymore ." she says . she honestly looks physically sick like she's going to throw up too . her skin grew paler . i've never seen her like this . she's usually so radiant and glowy . i don't know what to do . her eyes are so dark they almost look black .

"yes of course we can . do you want me to drive ? you don't look too well either ." i signaled for the waitress and asked her for the tab . we payed , and we got out of there .

"babe i think i need to go to the hospital." she mumbled out . i can hear her voice getting faint . this is what makes my heart break .

"why babe what's wrong ?" i said putting my hand on her thigh . i can hear her sniffing . "hey pretty girl , don't cry ."

"my chest ." she whispers . she's looking at me and i made eye contact at her while we're at a traffic light . i can see the pain and the fear in her eyes . she didn't know what was happening , and neither did i , but what i did know , was that i will get her to this hospital to make sure my baby is okay .

"okay baby, just try to keep your breathing steady and don't go to sleep . just whatever you do , DO NOT close your eyes . it's gonna be alright ." i started to speed . at this point i was break every traffic violation there was . i didn't care . i was focused on vanessa . i sped , may have even tore down a few street signs , and possibly ran over someone . i just wanted to get there .

i arrive at the hospital and i jumped out of the drivers seat . i rushed to vanessa's side and i carried her . running up to the door as fast as my little long legs could carry me .

"hey ! we need a doctor ! she's having chest pains . please !" i yell as i started to cry

"ma'am you'll have to wait in line and fill out her information forms ." the lady at the front desk pointed to the waiting area and it was PACKED .

"listen lady , fuck your information papers . my girlfriend is in need of your doctors assistance here and y'all are totally ignoring an emergency . i don't see anyone in here bleeding out or crying for y'all to help them so help us now." i demanded . if she didn't help me i was gonna run back there and find a doctor myself .

"shes got a point !" a guy yelled from the waaay way back of the line .

the doctor came from the back and saw me carrying her . he dropped everything he had and got a bed to put vanessa in .

"sherri what the hell you have to tell me about these emergencies . we can't have people dying on your watch ." he yelled at her . clearly pissed

"um uhh yes boss ." she clammed up and went back to her computer . i walked past her and i flipped her off .

"mess with me or my girlfriend again and i PROMISE you— we'll get along like the house on fire ." i said . i walked away and walked in the direction of the doctor .

he directed me to a private waiting room and told me i could call some friends while vanessa was getting some tests done . so i did just that . i called her sister and i called casey . i couldn't deal with everyone right now . and i just needed his comfort .

i sat for like 30 minutes with my head in my knees . crying . thinking about all these what-ifs . what if it goes wrong , what if she ends up dying , what is she loses something . just all these demons trying to get me to think of the worst and honestly its getting the best of me .

"hey omg i came as soon as i could ." casey rushed into the room and gave me the biggest hug ever . that's when all the sprinklers came on . i was hysterical . and i felt helpless . celina arrived moments later embracing me as well .

"casey , celina .. t-this is all my f-fault . if o-only i knew how t-to help her we wouldn't h-have been here ." i cried . he rubbed my back and reassured me that everything was going to be okay . he helped me with my breathing and i calmed my nerves a little bit .

"look mads , vanessa is a fighter she'll be okay . but i need to know what happened ." he pulled away from the hug and looked me straight in the eyes . i wish i had an answer for him , but i don't . i don't know what triggered this .

"well she started turning pale , and her voice grew weak so we were on our way to the house and she started having chest pains so we came here ." i said wiping my face and fixing myself up . he smiled at me and just giggled a little .

"you just have to be such a hero huh ? the perfect girlfriend , the perfect everything . you are so good to her and you two deserve each other ." celina said . i blushed and looked down in embarrassment . she looks so much like vanessa i just can't help but feel joy .

"well thank you ." i smiled .

"so do you know why she started feeling sick ? was it something she ate ?" she questioned me . but i don't know . all i can think about was the .. phone call .

"the phone call." i mumbled . i zoned out a little bit trying to think about what is was .

"the what ?" the both of them asked in unison , which was kinda creepy .

"the phone call . at dinner she got a phone call and said it was threatening . what the hell ? why didn't i think of it before ? ugh i'm so stupid ." i cried even more . because even though i knew what caused her to freak out , i still didn't know who it was or what they said and i'm getting tired of it . it's time for my inner cheryl to rock the world . and it begins now bitches . prepare yourselves . because this bombshell is simply just a reason .
