"SO WILL YOU MARRY ME?" tanong ni Leo kay Roni.
"Hala, nauna ako. Bakit ako ang sasagot sayo?" Balik na tanong naman ni Roni sa nobyo. "Will you marry me?"
The two of them are sitting in the middle of this fancy restaurant in Makati. Paborito nila sa lugar na ito at ang dami na nilang mga memorya dito. This is their special place and there was no wondering kung bakit dito nila parehas napiling alukin ang isa't isa ng kasal. Kung bakit sabay at sa parehas na paraan nila ginawa yun, hindi alam ni Roni. Masyado naman ata silang meant to be diba?
"Tiger, ako dapat ang nagtatanong nito sayo." Napakamot na ng ulo niya si Leo. He was so surprised when another dessert came and a ring was there too.
"No, we have equal rights to ask. At tsaka sabay kaya dumating yung mga desserts natin." Natatawa siyang nakikipagtalo sa nobyo. Ayaw niya lang sumuko, eh sa nagpropose din siya eh.

"Kuya, will I sound crazy if I tell you na gusto kong ayain si Leo na pakasalan ako?" Nasa Batangas sila ni Grant ngayon kasi gusto niyang tanungin talaga ang kuya niya and besides, she does want his blessing.
"Baliw ka naman talaga Veronica, matagal na." Tumawa ito.
"So okay lang na ako ang mag-propose?" She asked again.
"Ha?!" Halos sabay na sabi ng mag-asawa.
"Pero-" hindi na naituloy ng kapatid niya ang sasabihin ng biglang pigilan ito ni Ingrid.
"Ay nako Roni, you should go for it. Payag tong kuya mo. Alam mo naman na corny to pero di naman KJ." Sabi ni Ingrid. Hindi na din niya tuloy pinansin ang kapatid niya kasi tumango lang dito ito sa sinabi ng asawa. Ngumiti pa nga ito eh. "Pero bakit mo naman naisipan na magpropose kay Leo?"
"Wala lang, gusto ko siyang makasama habang buhay and I know that he's the one for me. Uunahan ko na siya, di lang naman lalaki ang nagpopropose eh." Naiisip na niya agad ang magiging mukha ni Leo. He'll be shocked. "At hindi ba mas memorable?"
"Bakit di mo na lang hintayin na mag-propose si Leo?" Suhestyon ng kapatid niya.
Pero where's the thrill in that diba?
"Kuya, I've never been the conventional type. Alam mo naman na weird ako. I just want to show Leo na I'm all in." Nakangiti niyang paliwanag. "I'm planning to propose to him sa anniversary namin, sa favorite naming restaurant, and with a ring."
She was planning out the most perfect way yet cliché way too of proposing. Natatawa siya sa sarili niya. Ganito niya kamahal si Leo. She was willing to bend some rules just to be with him forever, plus she has the perfect gift for him too.

"Leo, babe sige na. Say yes na. May isa pa akong surprise eh." Tahimik lang sa restaurant kasi parang napag-usapan nang rentahan to. Malamang ay yun ang plano ni Leo. She wanted to propose publicly kasi gusto niya ay ipakita dito na she's proud to be with him.
"May surprise ka pa?" He asked.
"Oo kaya, answer me na." She laughed, teasing him more. Kapag naman nagtanong to uli ay sasagot na din siya. "Marry me?"
"How did we end up offering marriage to each other on the same time, in the same place, and through the same way?" Natatawa din ito. He took out the ring from the dessert and looked at her. "I'm not saying that only men can ask for marriage but I just want to do this too."
"Leo,"
"I love you, and it means the world if I can call you my wife." He smiled as he took her hand. "Will you marry me?"
