• Chapter Two •
ColdIt was an hour later and my mom was still sitting outside staring at the woods as if she was waiting for something. I get my bag and I poke my head out the back door and she turns to me and smiles.
"I'm going to the library." I tell her
"Be back before dinner Clem." She says as she gets up and comes over to me and hugs me and kisses my forehead and walks into the house. I step out of the doorway onto the back porch and found it weird how my mom was acting, I usually have to have a fit with her before I go into town alone. I shrugged it off and started walking around the house to the front yard where my penny board was. I get my headphones on and started play toothbrush by DNCE with that I headed into town.
I get to the library without trouble and I walk in. It smelled of old books and dust, this wasn't any normal library since this one if for the witch's. I look at the front desk and see a ogre which normal people just see a human but I'm not normal. I got up to the front desk and she smiled at me, I then she her in human form to see she was an old lady.
"Um, book about guardian angels is what I need and maybe some books with newspapers from 1990 to 1999?" I say and she nodded at me as she reached under her desk and pulls out a stack of three books.
"Your mom called and said you would be looking for this Clem." She said with a giggle.
"Thanks."I say as I stuff them in my book back and wave at her.
"Remember to bring them back dear." She says to me as I run out the door.
"Promise." I say as I set my penny board on the ground as I put my headphones in but as I was about to get on someone bumps into my making me fall on my butt. I look up and see a blonde fella.
"Oh sorry, didn't mean to do that." He says as he helps me up. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He seemed transparent thats when I realized he was a ghost.
"Oh no worries, accidents happen." I say as I wipe off my pants.
"Names Sam." He says as he shakes my hand.
"Clementine." I say he seemed to be a little older then me.
"I'll see you around then." He says as he runs off and disappears into thin air. I chuckled as I get on my penny board and road all the way back home.
It was mid day, about two hours until dark so I walked into the house and see my mom watching TV. She had her legs crossed, laughing at the Ellen show. I walk in and take my headphones out.
"I'm about to cook dinner, so get ready." My mom says as I pass her on the couch and go to my room. I sit down on my bed and pull out all of the books. I then felt something cold touch my hand once I touched the the 1998 book, so I grab it and open in. It was articles of just a few things that didn't really catch my eye until I hit the middle of the book.-

I look over to the pictures and see the same sam I had bumped into earlier. I then look at Colby and it was definitely the boy in my dreams, the other two I didn't recognize. I then had the feelings to go to the 1999 book to see if they did an follow up a year later. I get that book and flipped through until I get to that date.

I looked over at the pictures again and see them again, same pictures. I close the book and felt a pain in my chest. I look up and see a black figure standing there making me confused until it's creepy grin made me short of breath I couldn't breath almost. It started to make me feel uncomfortable, I tried to scream but nothing came out. The figure stared me right in the eyes making them tear up and me left paralyzed as it lifted me up to my ceiling. I felt darkness slowly take over until my mom busted through my door and it disappeared making me slam down on the ground. I landed my ankle and felt a sharp pain go through it.
"What the hell was that." My mom ask me and she hugs me
"I don't know." I say trying to catch my breath.
"Hey, breath clem." She tells me
"My ankle mom." I say looking down at it and see it already swollen and bruised.
"Oh shit." She says as she picks me up and sits me on my bed.
"It's broken." I tell her
"Come on, lets go to the hospital." She says as we picks me up again and started to carry me to the car. She sits me in the passenger seat and tells me to stay as if I could actually go anywhere. She runs in the house and runs back out locking it and then driving me to the nearest hospital.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ahhh, i got creeped out writing that but it's probably because my house is haunted. It's whatever though. :)
