The Mysterious Man Part 1

I was in the barn feeding my teams horses. As I walked past my horse to put the bucket away he nudged the back of my head. I turned around and smiled at him as I placed my hand on his nose. He had a light grey coat with a black mane and tail. He had a white stripe down his nose and black around his ankles. When I first joined the Scout Regimen they were trying to train him but he wouldn't get along with anyone until one day I walked up to him and he calmed down and nudged me in the forehead. They were going to sell him to a horse trader put I convinced them not to and he became my horse.

"What? You want attention don't you Silver." I said as I ran my hand through his mane and he nodded his head.

"Melissa? Are you done yet?" Someone said and I turned my head towards the door and my squad leader was standing there. She had shoulder length black hair with a mole under her left eye. She was pushing her glasses up her nose as she was waiting for an answer.

"Y-Yes Ma'am." I stuttered quietly and I walked over an placed the bucket on the hook on the wall next to the food.

'"Ugghh! How many times have I told you not to mumble and speak up? But anyways were being called for an announcement." She said and then turned around as she walked away. I started following her so I knew where to stand.

We were all standing at attention and we waited for the announcement. I was standing in the middle of my row and I was in the row third from the back. There was the Commander standing in center stage and next to him were three people I have never seen before. The first one was a short girl with red hair in pigtails that doesn't quite meet her shoulders and green eyes. She had her hand on her hip and she was grinning at everyone. Next, to her, there was a guy who had short, straight black hair styled in an undercut and sharp. He had silver cold eyes and his arms were crossed. The guy next to him had pale brown hair and hazel eyes. He was trying to stand at attention like us but he had a more relaxed look then we did. The three of them was wearing the same uniform as me and I could tell they are not ordinary soldiers like us.

"Attention everyone! From now on, these three will fight alongside you. You three... Introduce yourselves to your fellow soldiers." The Commander said and we waited for a response.

"Levi." The one in the middle said.

"My name is Isabel Magnolia! Nice to meet you!" the redhead said as she pointed to her self with her thumb.

"Farlan Church. Pleased to meet you!" The last guy said and I felt a little nervous.

'I have a bad feeling about them, they're not even real soldiers!' I thought.

"They will stay in Fargon's squad. Fargon take care of them." The Commander informed

"In my squad?!" Fargon asked surprised.

"Do you object?"

"No, I just thought they would join Erwin's squad." He questioned

"Captain Erwin is working on a new formation for the next expedition. He entrusted the new recruits to you. You will now be responsible for their training. Is that understood?" Commander ordered

"Yes! Understood!"

"That's all. Each squad... Should provide a standard report." The Commander said and we all were released.

"Okay! Squad Eight go to the training ground immediately!" My squad leader said. We nodded our heads and followed her orders.

I was flying through the trees with my blades ready to fight. A wooden Titan swung in front of me. I spun real fast then cut the nape of the neck. Another one appeared and this time Zoie a blonde girl with long blonde hair in high pigtails and green eyes face appeared in front of me upside down. She surprised me and I almost missed a tree with my 3d Maneuvering Device.

"YEAH! I FINALLY CAUGHT UP TO YOU!" she shouted and I saw she was about to run into a wooden Titan.

"Zoie look out!" I warned. I made my self-go backward and I flipped in the air above her as she turned around and went face first into the fake Titan. I sliced the Titans neck and then I saw the end of the forest. I spotted my Squad Leader then I flew down to the ground landing on my feet as I turned around. I was the first one there then I waited for Zoie and my Squad. After a few minutes they showed up and Zoie had a bloody nose. My Squad leader was writing stuff down on a paper and clipboard.

"You were so close to beating your record, Melissa." She said as I handed Zoie my handkerchief.

"What about me?" Zoie asked.

"You need to work on being more serious. You would have been killed by a Titan if that was real and worse you could have gotten Melissa killed!" She lectured giving Zoie a dark look and we both got nervous.

"Melissa." She growled.

"Y-Y-Yes?!" I asked nervously.

"Go put your 3d maneuvering devices away and take Zoie to the infirmary. Then go clean your barracks."

We nodded and took off running so she wouldn't kill us.
