Soldier With Wings of Freedom

Wall Rose Part 1

[Warning! If you haven't read the Manga I am warning you now. There are spoilers in this chapter and past it.]

I was wearing a light tan U shaped neck shirt that had long sleeves that were wide opened on the end. I had a matching skirt on underneath that went to my ankles and flat black boots that went to my calf. I also had a red sleeveless vest, that buttoned up in the front. My right arm was wrapped up in bandages and was supposed to be resting in a sling, but I didn't want Erwin to worry about me so I kept it out. My hair was left down and was flowing through the wind as Erwin and I was riding towards Hermina. There was a group of soldiers behind us that we were leading to help evacuate the citizens to wall Sina and protect them from titans. As we rode my mind drifted off into space.

I was supposed to rest in my hospital room, but I snuck away to check on Zoie. Her room was down the hall so I snuck over to it when no one was looking. I quickly opened the door and closed it. Cole was sitting in a wheelchair next to her bed. He quickly looked at me confused.

"Captain?"He asked. I sighed and walked over to the other side of Zoie's bed as I looked at him.

"I told you, you don't have to call me that anymore."

"I know... But you are always going to be my Captain." He said with a smile.

I looked down at Zoie who was sleeping with no emotion on her face. She had blankets over her and her hair was down. Her glasses were on the nightstand next to her bed with a picture of the team by it. I had no emotion on my face because I didn't want to show Cole how I felt.

"Captain?... You're wearing a dress?" He said. I looked over at him and he flinched.

"Uh... I mean... I mean that... I never really seen you wearing a dress before... and your hair is down... You uh... Look nice." He said nervously as if I would hurt him.

"Thanks... I guess... So I take it neither one of you got hurt?" I asked. he looked at me confused then a light clicked in his head.

"You mean about the two Titans that were fighting in the town. Yeah we're alright they were about to evacuate us but everything was over before they did. What about you? I heard the Scouting Legion was evolved. What happened?"

"The Female Titan was a member of the MP. When we tried to capture her she transformed so we had to fight her before she escaped. We caught her so there's nothing you can worry about now." I said.

"Then the other Titan was Eren?" He asked and I nodded. He looked at my injured arm and his face filled with worry.

"You're injured." He said and I looked at my arm.

"It's nothing," I said and he nodded.

We heard a knock on the door and we looked over as the door quickly opened. Elizabeth was wearing a pair of black pants, boots, and a blue long-sleeve shirt. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she was wearing her gear. She was out of breath and looked like she was trying not to panic.

"Captain!... Titans have appeared... Wall Rose has fallen!" She said. We both looked at her surprised.

Elizabeth rode up next to me as we rode into the town. People were being evacuated as we rode past them. We rode up in front of a stable and Erwin jumped off his horse. I jumped off the horse I borrowed and I walked up to him.

"I have to talk to Commander Pixis... Stay here. Levi should be around here somewhere." He said and I nodded.

He walked off and I started looking around. I spotted Levi sitting in a cart with Pastor Nick. I walked over to him and he looked at me. He looked annoyed probably because he can't go out and fight the titans with everyone else plus the Military police were down here helping. Actually more like standing around waiting for something to happen.
