We arrived at headquarters and the first thing I did was run up to Erwin's office after I put my horse in the stables. There were two guards outside his door and when I walked up they saluted.

"Captain Melissa?" They both said.

"Can I see Commander Erwin?" I asked and they nodded.

I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Come in." He said from the other side of the door. I opened the door as he looked up. I closed the door and he smiled at me.

"I see your back, but what about Levi's squad?" He asked.

"We left before them, knowing Levi they'll be here soon," I said as I crossed my arms and walked over to the window.

"I was expecting that Levi would be with you when you came back." He said. I shook my head as I leaned against the wall and looked out it. Erwin looked away and continued on with his paperwork.

"How was Levi when you left?"

"He wasn't in a good mood," I said and I heard him sigh.

"He didn't beat anything or anyone up did he?" Erwin asked. A small smile appeared on my face.

"No. Not yet anyway. But I have a feeling he might sometime soon." I said. Erwin looked up at me confused.

"What makes you think that?" He asked seriously. My smile disappeared and I looked back out the window.

"Earlier this morning Levi read the letter you sent me and he got mad... Before we left Levi and I talked about my father." I said then someone knocked on the door.

"I see..." Erwin said softly.

"Come in." He said. I heard the door opened up and then close. I looked away from the window and saw Mike walk up to the desk. Erwin put down his pen and looked up at him.

"Commander. The cadets should be arriving this afternoon, Sir." He said.

"When they get here make sure their new Squad Leaders give them their new uniforms. I will be back as soon as possible." Erwin commanded.

"Yes, Sir," Mike said and then walked out.

"So how many cadets did we get?" I asked a little curious.

"Counting Jaeger and Magnolia... There are 22 cadets." He said and I was a little surprised at the number.

"Only 22?... Well, I guess after that last Titan attack were lucky to get that many." I said. I could tell he was thinking about something.

"How is Magnolia doing on your team." He asked.

"I think she is okay. I don't know about the rest of the team though." I teased and he smiled.

"Is she like her older sister?" He asked and I closed my eyes as I thought about it. Her older sister was Isabel Magnolia. She joined the Survey Corps with Levi and Farlan Church about five years ago.

"She seems to be a little more mature than her... But she drive's me insane half of the time." I said. My eye started twitching when I said the second part.

We waited for Levi's team to get back and after he did we had to go over and have tea with my damn father. We were in a carriage on our way over and I was sitting by myself. Levi was sitting across from me with his arms crossed. He had his right leg crossed over on his left and his eyes were closed while sitting next to him was Erwin. My anxiety was up and I pulled the curtain back a little as I leaned over and looked out it. We were almost there and I could feel my gut start hurting.
