57th Expedition part 3

I was standing on a branch that was next to the one Jean was standing on. I was trying to get the images of my Teams death out of my head

'That Female is going to pay!' I thought, as tears ran down the side of my cheek.

"Lizzy are you alright?" Jean asked.

"Cadet Magnoila!" Someone behind me said. I turned around as the man landed on the same branch as Jean.

"Yes?!" I said.

"I have a message from Commander Erwin. Two other members of your team are alive!" He said and I looked at him surprised.

"What?... But that's impossible!"

"They both can't fight at the Moment one of them is badly injured, and we still need to check the other one." He said as more tears started falling down my face.

"Who survived?" I asked.

"We don't have the man's identity confirmed yet, But the other is Captain Melissa. She is with the Commander right now." He said and then he jumped out of the tree and flew off somewhere else.

"Elizabeth what happened... to your team?" Armin asked and I couldn't answer.

We heard a loud noise that sounded like a wild animal's cry. It was so loud that it shook the trees around us. Everyone looked towards the center of the forest and I opened my eyes wide as I realized what it might be. I looked below us and the Titans that were trying to get us took off running towards the center of the forest.

"What the Hell?!" I asked.

"What's up with them? They're all running into the forest?" Jean asked.

"Why did they suddenly start ignoring us?" Armin asked.

"ATTACK! DON'T LET THEM THROUGH!" The Squad Leader ordered.

<Levi's Point of View>

I ordered my team to go ahead of me. Maybe I could have saved Melissa, but I was the only one who knew what was happening. Erwin sent a squad to examine the scene and report back. Mike had to take Melissa's job because next to her and I he was the second best soldier. We spun around and tried to cut the fingers as they crystallize. Our blades broke and I jumped onto the tree branch next to Hanji.

"She crystallizes her skin to protect her self. Sounds similar to the Armored Titan doesn't it?" She said.

"Tch! I just want to kill her for what she did!" I growled and she looked at me a little scared.

"Shesh! It really made you mad... Huh? I just realized something... Levi do you know where Melissa is? She was supposed to be here when you got here?" She asked and I my lowered my head so my hair would cover my eyes. I clenched my teeth in frustration as I gripped onto my controls harder.

"The Female killed the squad behind mine and the two reinforcement squads. Melissa's team was one of them."

"Oh my god! She was one of the strongest among us." She said.

"Captain Levi?!" A soldier said as he flew up next to me.

"What is it?" I snapped and he jumped scared.

"There are two survivors, We think one of them is Captain Melissa. Commander Erwin asked me to come and get you, Sir." He said and I looked up surprised.

"Take me to her right away!" I said and he jumped off the branch as I followed behind him.
