<Melissa's Point of View>

Just like they had practiced with simulations after the second wall was breached the citizens of Wall Rose took shelter in the old underground city ruins within Wall Sina. And just as had been predicted, food stores sufficient to feed the majority of humanity's survivors would last but a week. In other words, in the event that Wall Rose were truly breached, the final, peace would only last for this one week. From then on, one would have to choose. Whether to starve and die or to plunder and live. Whether to give everything up or to cast everything away.

It was only one week after the incident that the safety within Wall Rose was confirmed.

"We've already let the refugees return to the surface. and perhaps I should say it's fortunate that even amidst all the chaos, only one incident required military intervention. Within the week. Well, truthfully we had no choice but to declare Wall Rose safe."

"When we tried to evict the Illegal residents squatting in the city underground, there was a conflict with the stationary guard on one area. There were no deaths, but this incident had a huge impact within the wall. It was like hell had been unleashed for a moment. After seeing it for ourselves we can be certain."

"That one week after Wall Rose falls, People will begin to destroy to one another." He finished.

"I'm sorry Erwin," I spoke up.

"You'd finally recovered to the point of being able to talk. I'm sure just hearing about this week is enough to make you want to take to bed again." Levi said.

"No, I've had enough sleep. Continue." Erwin ordered.

"It's too bad about your right arm," Levi said.

"How many hundreds of people do you think I've fed to the Titans by now? One arm's hardly enough to make up for that. I'll pay off my debts in hell one day." Erwin proudly responded.

"Well said, Erwin. Will you let me join you in Hell when that day comes." Commander Pixis asked.

"What are you talking about, Old Man? Have you had enough too? It seems like you haven't had enough to drink yet." Levi asked back.

"Indeed. I would like a drink now. But the Alcohols been confiscated. Somebody is determined to keep an eye on me until the bitter end." Pixis answered.

"About time," I muttered. Erwin softly chuckled then spoke up.

"Looks like you have quite the exceptional subordinate."

There was a knock on the door. We all went silent as Levi spoke up.

"It's Hanji. Enter."

"Excuse me, Erwin," Hanji spoke as she walked in. Connie walked in behind her and then closed the door. They saluted as Hanji spoke up.

"So you were here as well, Commander Pixis. Perfect timing. I'm here in regards to the investigative report for the incident. This is-" Hanji spoke then let Connie finish.

"Connie Springer of the 104th!"

"His hometown is Ragako village of interest. He joined my investigative squad due to his knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the incident." Hang explained.

"Connie you've worked hard," Levi said.

"Yes," Connie responded with a distinct expression.

"Allow me to explain. Regarding the source of the Titans this time. Indeed we have collected much evidence increasing the likelihood of that theory. It seems that all of the residences in the village were destroyed by the explosions from within. But despite such obvious destruction, we didn't find any trace of blood. and the key is that even until now we still haven't found a single resident of the Ragako village. Furthermore. the total number of titans that appeared and were suppressed within the wall is exactly equal to the number of residents of the Ragako village. And thus there is a high likelihood that the true forms of the titans that appeared this time are the resident of the Ragako village." Hanji informed. We all went silent as we looked at her surprised.
