"how was yesterday with hayes?" i ask bri as we make our way towards the place.
"good." she says
"what did you guys even do?" i ask.
"we went and saw a movie and then walked around the mall and got lunch." she says.
"that sounds fun." i say. hayes finally took bri out on a date yesterday. he asked me the day before and i told him i didn't care, as long as he didn't try and make a move on her.
"what movie did you guys see?" i ask
"incredibles 2." she says.
"brianna!" i exclaim .
"what?" she asks with a laugh
"i was gonna take you to see that next week." i say, turning around and looking at her.
"i'm sorry. i didn't know." she says with a laugh. we have monthly sister dates where we go get lunch and then watch a movie. and usually i'll let her get a few clothes. we've done them ever since i was driving and had enough money to take her places. i do it so she never feels as if i forget about her. and of course, we hand out regularly too.
"what other movies do you wanna see?" i ask
"umm. oceans 8." she says
"ok. we'll see that." i say. she nods.
"and you'll watch the babes." i say, tapping jacks arm. he laughs and shakes his head. he then pulls into a little parking lot in front of a little forest. it's not that packed but there's enough cars to where i know that this is a frequented space. he parks and we all get out. i walk up to the entrance and make sure it's safe for strollers. one of the little information bits says it's 'storller friendly'. i nod to myself and walk back to the car. i brought the sling just in as wbu i'm sure i won't have to use it till later.
"how does this work?" Jack questions. i laugha dn walk to him. i helped him snap the car seat into place on the stroller.
"alright. ready?" i ask bri. she nods. i set the diaper bag in the bottom part of the stroller and then go to the entrance.
"there's hayes and tez. and johnson." bri says, pointing to the side of us. i see hayes smile.
"awww. that's cute." i say to bri, who is smiling as well.
"there's sammy and ben." Jack says, poitingit tot he other side.
"and jazmin." i add as i see her blue hair. i look back over to where hayes, tez and johnson we're coming just in time to see hayes and bri hug.
"cute as fuck." i say. hayes laughs.
"ahh, you guys a twinning. how cute." johnson says, motioning to bri and i. i pull bri towards me.
"it's cuz we love each other." i say, hugging her.
"not this again." bri says, pushing herself away. i laugh
"hey mister. i have a word for you." i say to hayes.
"uh oh." tez says.
"you took bri to see incredibles 2?" i ask. he nods.
"yea?" he questions with a laugh
"she was going to take me next week for our bonding day." bri says. hayes laughs.
"i didn't know." he says.
"don't do it again. got it?" i say. he nod and laughs.
"hiiii." i hear jazmin say. i turn around.
"hey cutie." i say and hug her.
"hiya." she says back. i pull away.
"hi ben." i say side hugging him
"i don't hi cutie?" he asks.
"my boyfriends right there. don't be disrespectful." i say in a squeaky voice. he laughs.
"is everyone ready?" johnson asks. we all nod. everyone starts off. sammy,ben, johnson's and tez go in front of Jack and i. jazmin is next to me and hayes and bri are a little in front of Jack.
"can we go to the water fall first?" i ask.
"we'll go there last." johnson says. i groan.
—an hour later-
bri is now pushing marli. her and hayes are in front of Jack and i. we're now in front of the others. well, tez and johnson are next to us.
"do the thing." i say and start to walk side to side. Jack laughs and puts his arm around my waist and does it with me. i start laughing.
"no don't step on me." i say as he tries to step on my shoe. i then try to step on his.
"no!" he exclaims, moving his foot. we have a battle before he just picks me up. i laugh and wrap my legs around him.
"no baby's making in the forest please." johnson says, snap chatting us.
"why? then we can name our baby forest gump." i tell him. he laughs and stops recording.
"i wanna take a few pictures." i tell Jack. he nods
"we will." he says.
"my boobs are just like, right in you face." i say laughing. he looks down and motorboats them.
"ahhh! Jack!" i exclaim, jumping down from him. he laughs.
"these boobs are reserved for marli." i say. the guys burst out laughing.
"i had then first." he says running to me. i scream and take off running down the trial. i pass bri and hayes.
"leave me alone!" i yell laughing.
"be careful elle!" he yells with a laugh. just as he says that, i trip. i feel him grab my arm before i hit the ground. he then sets me down lightly.
"oh my god!" i say laughing. he shakes his head with a smile.
"good save gilinsky!" sammy yells.
"don't run on here." Jack says. he helps me up and i dust myself off.
"my heart skipped 19 beats." i say looking at him. he shakes his head with a smile. i give him a kiss.
"your my hero." i say playfully
"just call me yourman." he says, putting his hands on his hips.
"shut the fuck up." i say laughing. he laughs and then we continue to walk.
"i hear the water fall." i hear bri say. i stop walking, causing Jack to bump into me. i laugh. i then listen for the water.
"oh! i hear it too!" i exclaim. bri laughs.
"why are you the 17 year of right now?" bri laughs.
"be quiet." i say. i hip bump her and she moves from the stroller. i begin to push it, pulling down the little hood.
"hey princess." i say to marli. she coos.
"are you havin fun?" i ask. she smiles.
"do you wanna come out?" i ask again. she coos so i take that as a yes.
"i'm pulling over." i say. i pull off to the side and grab the wrap from out of the bag.
"bri. come help me." i say. she appears next to me.
"ok. take out marli." i say. she unbuckles marli and takes her out.
"and put her against me." i say. bri laughs but holds marli against. i put the wrap over her and then Jack helps to pull in behind my back. i then connect the velcro. bri takes her hand away and i tighten it a little.
"it's a three man job to put on a pouch." johnson says. i laugh
"a pouch?" i ask. he nods.
"that's like a kangaroo pouch." he says. i roll my eyes and laugh. Jack pushes the stroller and we all begin to walk again.
