elle -a week later-
"no. only bri wears heels. you guys are wearing the, uh, white converse." i tell everyone.
"why am i wearing heels?" bri asks.
"cuz your my maid of honor." i say. everyone laughs
"the same damn reason your wearing red." i say. she smiles.
"i know. i'm special." she says and makes a face. i roll my eyes and laugh.
"shush." i say.
"marli." i hear my mom sing. she walks into the changing area with marli on her hip.
"hey cutie." i say, taking her from my mom. i kiss her cheek and she giggles.
"do you wanna eat?" i ask her. she just studies my hair.
"let's go see dada." i say.
"elle." my mom says with a laugh
"she wants to see him." i say with a shrug. my mom laughs and kisses my cheek.
"be back very soon. we have to start getting you ready." she says. i nod and then put marli on my hip and grab my phone, then slip on my slides.
"brb." i say and walk out of the room. today is the big day. Jack and i are getting married. i guess you could say i'm a bit nervous. screw that. i'm a lot nervous. i think i've gone and saw Jack a total of 5 times now. with and without marli. i reach the guys room and knock and cover the peep hole. our wedding is at this little outside but inside spot. basically we are still inside the hotel, but there isn't any walls around us. it confusing but really pretty.
"i wonder who this is." i hear sammy say. the door opens and i smile.
"heyyyyyy." i say. he laughs.
"did marli wanna come see Jack again?" he asks. i nod.
"yea. i don't know what it is." i say and shrug.
"you know, your gonna have to get ready soon." he tells me
"yea yea." i say and walk inside. he laughs and closes the door.
"Jack. you have a guest." sammy says. johnson laughs as he sees me.
"really?" he asks.
"shut up." i say and flip him off. Jack walks out of the bathroom in only his suit pants with messy hair. he confused face turns into a smile and he laughs.
"your supposed to be getting ready." he tell me as he takes marli from me.
"marli wanted to come see you." i say. he shakes his head with a smile.
"you need to get ready babe." he says.
"i willll." i groan,
"you have two hours till the wedding. i think now would be a good time." johnson says.
"shut it." i tell him. he laughs.
"fine. i'll just take marli and we'll leave." i say, taking marli from Jack. he laughs and shakes his head.
"i bid a good day to you sir." i say and flip johnson off. he laughs and does it back.
"i'll see you guys in a little." i say. they wave and i walk out.
"why are you so nervous?" Jack asks, closing the door a little.
"dude." i say looking at him. he laughs and pulls me to him.
"i love you." he says, leaning down and giving me a kiss.
"i know." i say. he laughs.
"i love you too marli." he says, kissing her forehead. she giggles.
"alright. let's go get changed shall we?" i say to marli. she bounces in my arms and tugs at my robe.
"first food." i say. Jack laughs.
"i'll see you in a bit." he says to me. i nod and give him another kiss and then start back to our room. marli grunts and pulls on my robe again.
"ok dude chill out." i say to her. i reach the room and knock, just as marli starts to full on cry. my mom makes a face and i laugh, adjusting marli and pulling my robe to the side so she can eat.
"let's do your hair and makeup." she says. i nod, walking in the room and sitting down at the little desk.
"here. eat up." bri says, setting a subway sandwich i didn't of me.
"yum." i say, doing a little dance. she laughs and begins on my hair.
