elle -2 months later-
"marli." i sing, walking into her room. she smiles at me from her bed.
"your supposed to be asleep missy." i say. she shakes her head. i lay down next to her.
"why aren't you sleeping my love?" i ask, pushing her hair out of her face.
"not tired." she says.
"it's 2 am ma'am. you need to start getting tired." i say. she giggles.
"bryson." she says
"you want bryson to sleep in here?" i ask. she nods.
"he's gonna disturb you." i say. she shakes her head.
"ok. we can put him in here but you need to sleep alright? cuz he's gonna sleep too." i say. she nods. i climb out of her bed
"i'll be right back ok?" i say to her. she nods. i walk out of her room and to mine and jack's.
"marli wants bryson to sleep in here room tonight." i say to jack. he frowns.
"really?" he asks. i nod, walking over to him. he has bryson on his chest. bryson just ate so Jack was burping him.
"let's try it." he says. i laugh. i take bryson from him and set him on the bed. i grab his swaddle blanket and put that under him. i then quickly swaddle him and pick him back up.
"your gonna sleep in sissy's room tonight." i say to him. he gives me a sleepy smile. we've kept marli's crib in her room because they take naps together. bryson will sleep in the crib and marli in her bed. but, we've never left bryson in her room for the night, due to the fact that he wakes up every 2-3 hours to eat.
"let's give this a try shall we." i say to Jack. he smiles. i walk out of the room and to marli's. she smiles as i walk in.
"goodnight kisses." i say to her. i squat down and she kisses bryson's forehead. i stand back up and grab bryson's crib guide and set it in the crib. i then set bryson in it.
"should we turn the music on?" i ask marli. she nods. i walk over to her little music machine and turn it on, turning it on low. it plays lullaby's but piano versions. marli loves it.
"ok. goodnight." i say, walking to her. i kisses her cheek and pull her covers up.
"mickey." she says. i turn around just as mickey walks into the room. he walks over to marli's big bear and lays down on it. i laugh
"he's gonna sleep with you guys too ok?" i ask. she nods.
"love you." i say, walking to her door.
"love you." she says. i smile and walk out, closing the door just a bit. i then walk back down the hall and run into our room and jump on the bed.
"we're free!" i exclaim. Jack laughs.
"yea for a few hours. if that." he says. i shrug.
"yea but our room is empty." i say, sitting on his torso. he smirks.
"oh." he says. i smile and lean down.
"you wanna play fortnite." he says. i sit back up.
"hell yea." i say. he laughs. we then play a few rounds of fortnite. i, of course, win most of them.
