Kyles mum was very disappointed, she had noticed a change in his perfect personality, he was a 'straight' A* student and he had never missed his curfew before.
He walked up stairs and saw his sister fast asleep in the neighbouring room to his, he hadn't seen her come in, after all he had a perfect view of the house from the tree, 'maybe she never went out with Alex instead of me' he thought to him self.
The next morning, the twins went down stairs to eat, for a moment there was an awkward silence. He wanted to tell her how he had felt the previous night, but said nothing. He was open to the idea of eating in silence, until Abby started the conversation, starting with "sorry about last night."
She told him that it would never ever happen again, and that she wouldn't break the twin rules ever again. Kyle wanted to believe her, but he didn't, he couldn't.
Later that day after school, the three went down to the tree like they did the day before last. Like usual, they climbed up to the top, well Abby didn't, she only climbed two branches up from the floor before stopping. Only Kyle and Alex were at the top of the tree.
