Everyday Abby's mum became increasingly more suspicious about Alex, and every time she saw him, the suspicions grew bigger.
It got to the point where she asked Alex to dinner with her and Abby just so she could pull him aside and speak to him. After explaining why she had pulled him aside, she was honest with him and told him that she thought that Kyles fall wasn't an accident, but that he had pushed him, but whether he intended to kill him or not she wasn't sure yet.
Alex began to freak out at the thought of being found out by the police and Abby. Abby's mum said she was going to phone the police and tell them the truth about her son, the truth wasn't that he accidentally fell, it was that he was pushed by Alex.
As she began dialling the numbers , 9.... 9... but then Alex flipped and smashed the phone right out of her hand! He began shouting at her and threatening her. Abby's mum then told him that's he would get justice for her son and just as she was about to shout for Abby to call the police, Alex picked up a lamp and hit her clean over the head, she fell to the floor unconscious, but not dead.... well yet.
