Sent To Earth -Finn Collins love story-

Prologue

Cordelia's p.o.v

I was sitting on the couch in our small living space. Today was the last day I had to spend time with my family before I got sent to the skybox. Why am I being sent there? Well that's a story for another time I'm afraid.

Anyway I wanted to spend as much time with my brother as I possibly could before I left. He is my twin afterall and I'm one of the only ones on the ark to even have a sibling. Which is quite sad when you really think about it.

It was a rule that was put in place so that less oxygen could be used up. One birth per family. Anymore is punishable by death for the parents whilst the child has to be thrown into the skybox until they get reviewed at 18.

It's strange that after 97 years in space that Jasper and I were the only set of twins to be born on the Ark. Like I get that twins are a rare phenomenon but out of 3000 people only one had twins. What's the deal behind this logic?

I was brought out of my thoughts by Jasper entering our living space.

"Hey Delia!" He says, an excited look on his face "I got you something," Then he walked over to me and handing me a wrapped present.

It wasn't much but he tried his best to make it look nice, for being wrapped in brown paper. However, he managed to make a cute bow out of some twine.

"You didn't have to get me anything Jas," I say pulling him onto the couch beside me.

I opened the present to see a drawing pad and some charcoals to draw with "Awe, Jas you didn't have too," I say pulling him into a hug. I was incredibly happy. Supplies like this were very scarce on the Ark, things were rationed out so our resources didn't deplete too quickly.

"But I wanted to," he says with a smile.

"How did you even get these?" I asked while pulling out of our hug.

"Well, it took alot of convincing and puppy dog eyes but I asked Jaha if he could let me get you some, and surprisingly he agreed to it," Jasper says with a smile.

It was shocking that Jaha actually agreed to that, he was very strict afterall. Being Chancellor gives him alot of authority over us.

"Come on, let's walk around one more time before I'm locked up for the next 4 years," I say standing up and taking Jasper's hand, together we walked around farm station and through alpha station into the heart of the Ark.

I stopped at the window to look at the Earth as it orbited around the sun "Oh how I would love to visit the earth some day Jas," I say pressing my hand to the window.

Jasper smiles and puts his arm on my shoulder "Maybe one day little sister, you will get to walk on its surface," he says and I laugh.

"Hey you're only older by 2 minutes," I say looking up at him.

Somewhere off to the right we heard someone laugh and our best friend Monty came around the corner. "Didn't think you could get locked up without saying goodbye," he says walking up and hugging me.

"Well it's not like I'm leaving the ark, I'll be in the skybox, but no I would've made sure to say goodbye to you before they took me away," I say hugging him back.

Then all three of us continued our walk until we made it back to mine and Jasper living quarters where we said goodbye to Monty. I was really going to miss him, even though I'll still be on the Ark I probably won't be able to have visitors. Monty is like a second brother to me and I may never get to see him or Jasper again.

As soon as we entered our place, I was pulled into a tight hug by my mother who was uncontrollably crying "Mom can't breath," I say trying to get oxygen into my lungs and mom pulls away.

"I'm sorry. I'm just going to miss you," she says ruffling my hair.

"I'll miss you too. And please don't think it's your fault that I'm getting put in the sky box. You didn't know you were going to have twins so you technically didn't break the law. But rules are rules, only one child per family and Jasper came out first. It will only be for 4 years then I can hopefully see you again," I say rubbing her arm.

We spent the rest of the afternoon together playing chess and just being a family until it was time for me to go. A knock on the door told us it was time for my departure "Cordelia it's time for you to go," I heard the guard say from behind the door.

"May we meet again," I say hugging my Mom and Jasper, trying not to cry.

"May we meet again," they said with tears in their eyes as I walked out that door away from my family........

Ok so after watching my boys fate in season two I knew I wanted to write a story about him so here we are, I hope you like the story and thanks for reading.
