Chapter 25

Cordelia's p.o.v

"What did he do?" Murphy asks a look of concern on his face.

"He kissed Raven!" I say my breaths were shakey and my heart was beating really fast.

I felt his arms wrap around me and he rubbed my back. "I'll kill him," he exclaimed. His voice was full of rage.

"No please John don't hurt him," I say pulling away for him and looking up at him.

"Why shouldn't I," he says looking down at me "he hurt you." I shook my head, eyes looking at the ground.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean you can physically hurt him because he emotionally hurt me," I say.

He places his hand on my cheek which made me look up at him. "I'll do anything to protect you Cordelia because I love you. You're like a sister to me and I'll do anything to protect you," he says kissing my forehead.

"I love you too John, like a second brother and I know that you care about me but hurting the people who hurt me won't solve anything," I say matter of factly and he sighs.

"Alright I won't hurt him," he says with a nod. He then went off to do something while I went to find my brother.

Finn's p.o.v

I can't believe I just kissed Raven after all the things I did to forget her by moving on. But she told me that Cordelia might like Murphy and I guess I got jealous. I hate myself for it and it's all because Raven had to come down here.

She might have just ruined my chances at being with Cordelia and starting over. I fucked up big time.

Cordelia's p.o.v

I just got done hanging out with my brother, which was nice for a change, when I heard a bunch of yelling coming from the middle of camp. I ran to where the noise was coming from.

People were crowding around something or someone. I made my way through the crowd to see that everyone was surrounding a big dead animal.

"Where the hell did that come from?" I asked as everyone cheered because we had something more meaty to eat that wasn't rabbits and squirrels.

"Somewhere deep in the forest, it's some sort of mountain lion," Aiden says from beside me. In a few days that he's been here we have been becoming very good friends and he's really fun to be around.

"Wow who killed it?" I wondered as people began skinning the beast.

"I did Princess," the voice of Bellamy is heard to my right and I turned to look at him.

"I guess you are more manly than I thought Freckles," I state causing Murphy to laugh.

"Ha ha ha very funny," Bellamy says and I nod.

"I know it was because John laughed which is a rare thing," I informed him as he walked away.

"What's funny is that you call him freckles, it must make him feel less macho," Aidan says with a laugh.

"Yeah I hope it does," I say then I saw Octavia and I went to go talk to her.

"Hey O, can I stay in your tent for awhile?" I asked upon reaching her and she turns.

"Oh no I don't mind at all. But what happened that you can't stay in your tent?" She curiously asks and I sigh.

"I saw Finn kissing Raven and I'm really upset about it," I tell her and her eyes go wide.

"I'll kill him," she says with fury which brought back memories.

"That's exactly what John said but please it won't resolve anything," I state and she nods.

"I can still smack some sense into him can't I?" She states and I laugh.

"If it makes you feel better," I say and she smiles. After that I went back to her tent and made a makeshift bed on the opposite side. I layed down and went to sleep as soon as my head hit the makeshift pillow.....
