Cordelia's p.o.v
Finn and I bolted back towards the bunker. Our legs working in overdrive in order to make it to safety. Luckily we weren't that far away to begin with which was a relief when Finn flew open the hatch.
Not even bothering to use the ladder, I jumped down the hole, landing perfectly on my feet. Finn followed suit but used the ladder long enough to close and lock the hatch again.
My mind started racing as we stood in the darkness of the bunker. This was something that you didn't learn about in Earth skills, but that's because no one thought it possible for people to survive the radiation.
The grounders were incredibly smart to be able to mass produce something so deadly but it was also odd that they could make something as scientific as this. By the way that they carried spears and what not, you'd think that they wouldn't be able to or know how to create acid. Let alone make it into a fog.
I took chemistry on the Ark and even I can't make something like this. Someone who is very advanced in this science, would only know how to make acid fog.
Which makes me wonder if there's people put there who are more intelligent than the grounders.
"What the hell is that stuff?" I asked as the lights soon flickered on.
Finn shrugs "It's the acid fog that I told you about. I think that the grounders created it, maybe they use it to scare off rival tribes,"
I sighed plopping down on the plush couch "Hopefully everyone at the camp can take refuge in the drop ship. The last thing we need is people dying down here. If we're all dead then the Ark will never be able to come back down,"
"I'm sure that they are smart enough to not investigate a suspiciously green fog," Finn reassured but one can only hope. We are all curious about this mysterious place that we grew up learning about.
It was really boring waiting the stupid fog out, I began drifting off to sleep.

I just got back to camp from picking berries for everyone, since I was one of the best in earth skills and because Finn was helping Clarke with medical stuff. Upon walking through the gate that Bellamy had everyone make, I noticed that the ground was littered with bodies.
My heart race picked up as I began to panic, and went to look at one of the bodies. It was Murphy, his face was covered in boils, a red pus was seeping out of them, he wasn't breathing either.
No, this can't be happening, we just got here. Fear coursed through me as I sprinted into the dropship. My eyes looked around before landing on Jasper and I rushed to his bedside. His eyes were open, staring into the heavens and all my fears came crashing down. My only family gone.
"No, Jasper please wake up, you can't leave me here, I need you, Jasper please," I cried shaking him but he wouldn't wake up. I can't believe that out of the 100 that came here, I am the only one left. How will I survive on my own...
~end of dream~
I bolted up and caught my breath, thank god it was just a dream.....
Sorry for the wait and the abrupt ending, but I hope you like it and thanks for reading....
