Kacchan and I haven't really talked since that night. It was pretty understandable though, it was break and why would he go out of his way to talk to me when he didn't need to. I already knew that he only felt pity towards me that night. He even said that it was only for that night. He still hates me, I already know that.
I looked down to what I was wearing, Ochako had picked it out for me. I wore a dark green button-up with a black vest, black tie, and black coat over it. For pants, I wore black pants. (Look above for reference!) I couldn't wait for the party. It made my heart skip a beat to know that I would finally find the person that would love me forever and unconditionally.
"Deku, is something wrong? Aren't you going to be happy? We get to find the loves of our lives tonight!" Uraraka cheered gleefully as she began to change into her outfit.

I smiled at her and nodded, "Today is where our lives begin."

We arrived at the party to be greeted by all of our classmates and second years. It was going to be a fun night I told myself. I was going to find my mate, even if my life depended on it.
6:35 p.m.
Time seemed to drift by so slowly. Everyone was anxious and impatient, just wanting the clock to strike 12. I look around, for someone. I don't really know who, but I was looking. The room seemed so... off. The door swung open and then walked in...
Kacchan.
He walked in like he had owned the place. My heart began to skip beats, unhealthy I know. It was if my body was telling me that he was the one I was looking for. I could see all the girls turn and swoon at him. Just like how it was when we were kids.
"Look at Katsuki! I hope he's my mate."
"He's so hot."
"He's the strongest alpha, whoever gets him is so lucky."
I could feel a pang of jealousy in my chest. I knew deep down he was going to get the best girl in the room. It's okay though, once I get my mate, the love I have for them will overpower the love I have for Kacchan! I smiled to myself. Years of loving someone who didn't love me back was finally going to be over.
