"Sir, she's been located."
"Excellent."

It was three days later in the middle of the night. You were watching a vine compilation on YouTube and have been for the last several hours. For the past couple of nights since you helped evacuate civilians in Queens, you couldn't sleep. You would try, but after an hour or so you would wake up for no known reason.
Yawning, you checked the time on your phone. Two hours and fifty minutes past midnight. You had tried to go to bed at ten but that obviously didn't work out for you. Your body begged for some rest as your mind raced on. You fought the urge, hoping eventually you'd just crash without notice. Maybe then you could get some sleep.
You paused the video. Your stomach had growled several times within the last ten minutes. It was time for food. Slowly, you got out from underneath your covers and placed a second pair of fuzzy socks on your feet over the first. What? You were cold.
Grabbing your phone, you placed it into one of your pockets and left your room. All the lights in the hallway were off. Nothing stirred as you quietly walked towards the kitchen. Even Tony, who was known to pull all-nighters frequently, was sound asleep in his room with his fiancée, Pepper Potts.
When you got to the kitchen, you opened up the fridge to grab a water and then a box of cereal from the pantry. You sat down at the island and resumed the video you were previously watching, every so often grabbing a handful of cereal from the box and stuffing your face.
This continued for another three minutes before a bright, rainbow light came crashing down outside. Startled, you got up and walked over to the front door. You stepped out into the cold night air and looked around. A large silhouette moved in your vision.
You looked closely at the figure as you hugged yourself to stay warm. As they got closer to the door, closer to the light, you could make out short, blonde hair, armor, and a hammer-like axe? Maybe I'm going delusional from lack of sleep. Then, something clicked in your mind.
"Thor? What the hell are you doing here in the middle of the night!"
It was finally a decent time, about nine thirty in the morning. You were able to fall asleep after Thor came during the night. FRIDAY had alerted the Avengers, but none of them woke up nor cared to come out of their room. Those bastards! Everyone would have died if it were an emergency! Those were the only thoughts you had of your teammates, besides Thor and Clint, who was back home with his family.
You put on some clothes for the day: a black hoodie with Avengers across the chest, a pair of ripped jeans, and some sneakers. Quickly, you fixed your hair and did anything else you needed to do to get ready. You grabbed your bag and shoved your laptop inside along with all your needed school stuff. With your phone in hand and earbuds in, you walk towards the garage.
On your way, you pass the kitchen. Some of your teammates are there eating some breakfast while chatting with Thor on his sudden arrival, considering Asgard was still in the works, he should have been there. Without glancing their way, you yell out, "Y'all are dead to me!" You could feel their confusion. Somebody speaks up, possibly Sam.
"What? Why?" You ignore the questions and continue on walking. When you leave the kitchen, you finally shout back:
"Except for you Thor! You're my favorite!" You could hear the commotion as you enter the garage. You grabbed a key and searched for the car it belonged to. You liked driving a different one each day. It gave you a variety in life. Today's lucky winner was a white Nissan Altima.
