Even though Miss Martian was about 40 earth years old she was with her 16 mars years still a teenager and the most innocent part of the team.
So it was no wonder when she started crying uncontrollably while telling Black Canary the whole story in her view.
It was clearly a form of PTBS that Megan needed to process now.
"Megan...", Black Canary started handing her a box of tissues, "It is normal for people to leave us. Some people earlier than others"
"But that's not fair!", the Martian threw in wiping away some tears.
Dinah shook her head.
"It's not. But this is why we're here. To bring fairness. Justice...", she said, "Of course there are always some people we can't save. After all, our abilities are limited"
"I understand"
"Did you lose somebody you couldn't stop blaming yourself with?", Megan asked wiping away her tears.
Black Canary sighed but answered the question honestly, "My sister"
"How did you get over it?"
"That's kind of... complicated", the heroine said when she remembered her selfish act of grief saving and destroying her sisters life with the Lazarus pit, "I went down the wrong path, made some bad decisions but after a long time I started forgiving myself and decided to move on while honoring her by being a Canary"
Megan just stared at her, confused by her words. Of course she was.
"Honor the people you couldn't save by doing your best to save other people"
Megan nodded feeling much better now.
But instead of thanking her and leaving the room like everybody did, she stayed there in front of Black Canary.
"Is there something else you want to talk about?", she asked confused.
"Yes... It's about Robin"
"What about Robin?"

Conner quickly went after Black Canary not without promising Megan to be right back.
There they were. An Atlantean, a Martian and an archer sitting on a couch.
Just needed a priest and they could walk into a bar...Ok I stole that one...
"Did it help?", Megan asked her friends.
Both gave a small nod.
Silence...
Awkward...

Wally speeded out of the Zeta beam at the exact location where Robin left it just minutes ago.
He looked around confused where he was. A dark alley. And the end of this alley wasn't much brighter at all.
Gotham. He was in Gotham for sure!
"If I was a damn rich crazy sneaky superhero hacker ninja with a weird name... okay Wally isn't a model's name either...", he mumbled, "Where would I go...?"

Ten awkwardly silence minutes later with Kaldur, Megan and Artemis, Conner left the office with Black Canary and met them at the couch again.
"How'd it go?", Megan asked him.
He just nodded signalizing her that everything is fine. Now Conner was even less talkative than usual. And this meant something!
And Megan admitted she was a bit afraid. Ok forget that, she was terrified as hell about what's going to happen in this office now.
——By the way, where's Wally?——
"How the heck did I get up here?!", Wally exclaimed confused standing at the top of the Wayne Tech Building.
