Life was boring. There wasn't much work to do. She'd made so much money for the 'Android Designs' rights that she didn't have to work anymore. She sat on the couch crossing her legs with a glass of whiskey in her hands.
She took a sip. It was disgusting as always. Andry looked at her right hand. The robotic arm. She'd attached that biocomponent by herself. It was an accident, to say the least. Thanks to Detroit's cold weather the car had slipped on the icy road in the middle of the night and dived in the cold sea.
If she hadn't ripped her arm from the car's locked door, she would've drowned with it. It was two years ago, but still difficult to forget such a traumatizing experience. She was afraid of drowning. One of the little things she was afraid of.
Her phone's ringtone suddenly heard. She snapped out of her thoughts and she answered.
"Hello, Dr. Kamski. It's Connor. The next case is focused on an 'AX' Unit at Ravendale District. Please be there,"
And he closed it.
She bit her lip. Ravendale District. 'AX' Unit. A model she had designed as well. She woke up immediately, wrapped her coat and exited her house. Although she could have everything she wanted, she was alone in the house. No Androids. Androids were not servants to order around. She could manage it just fine by herself.
She found her car outside the building waiting for her. She got in the car and exited her Mansion's huge garden. She drove hastily towards Ravendale District. The Kamski Mansion was far from the City. She didn't like too many people. She didn't like people at all. She'd always been a loner.
She parked the car close to the Train Station. The cops were a few meters away.
Andry saw Connor running towards her. He wrapped her hand tightly and they started running together.
"It's headed for the Train Station!" Connor said as they ran together.
They ran hastily down the street trying to catch up.
"They went this way!" One of the Police officers shouted.
They ran together towards the fence, trying to catch up before the deviant and the child would reach the other side. The 'AX' Model climbed with the little girl in her arms making their way at the other side.
The beautiful deviant and Connor stared at each other for a small moment, before she wrapped the child and they hurried to pass the road, filled with dangerously speeding cars.
One of the police officers lifted the gun to shoot her. "Don't shoot! We need it alive!" Andry shouted stopping him just in time.
Hank stopped breathlessly beside her, resting his hand on Andry's shoulder. "Oh, fuck that's insane!"
Connor left Andry's hand and he tried to climb on the fence but Andry pulled him back.
"What are you doing?!" Andry shouted.
"I can't let them get away!" Connor said.
"They won't! They'll never make it to the other side," Hank said.
"I can't take that chance!" Connor shouted and he tried to climb again but this time Hank pulled him down.
"I can't let you die, Connor!" Andry shouted.
"You're gonna get yourself killed!" Hank said.
Connor started climbing anyway, and in a matter of seconds, he was on the other side passing the cars. Andry tried to climb out as well but the old man pulled her back down.
