There are a lot of comments about how Samara feels about her roommate's suicide. Keep in mind that Samara only roomed with this girl for about 3 nights. Her roommate didn't talk to her, didn't offer her any assistance, advice...nothing. So there was no relationship between them. They were just two girls who coexist in the same room.
Now, her roommate was already on the edge. Committing suicide was already part of her plan and no one was going to stop it. Samara felt like her roommate didn't value her life enough to keep on living. No matter what it is a person is going through, they should always persevere because they will never go through something they can't handle. If her roommate didn't believe that, then there was no forcing it. What was she to do? Samara believes her roommate is a coward for taking the easy way out. Samara didn't know her roommate enough to mourn for her, but she did pity her. That is just her opinion.
Another note:Suicide is no joke. If you felt as if that's how I'm coming, I don't mean it that way. If you are thinking of or have thought about committing suicide, please talk to someone. I'd rather hear about your problems than your death. Do not feel as if you're a burden because you are not. We all need help and guidance. Your life is too valuable to throw away. You may feel as if they don't, but you have people who love you. They would be devastated...
I have a coworker who always came to work wearing the nicest shoes. Nice ass Nike's, Jordan's, Adidas...etc. We went to a work function (annual party) and as always he showed up and showed out! Always poppn! The next day... I hear he got hit by a drunk driver. That shit is so fucked up and so devastating. Just yesterday I was telling him how good he looked and the next day he's dead...I couldn't even tell you how I felt....anyway, life is short, your life is precious please don't throw it away. Cherish it. Live life to the fullest, but don't do it so recklessly. Keep the peace, spread love. 🤟🏾
