I'm lonely way too often, but I don't like people that much. I like to observe from a safe distance. So I can forever be like "They seem so awesome. I wish I could be their friend."
You know what I realized? I think the only reason I really got into Pokemon was to be accepted by my friends. My mom never let me and my brothers do anything Pokemon related growing up cause she knew after we got one game, we'd start wanting so much more from the franchise. All my friends at school last year loved Pokemon among other things. They'd play the games (at least a couple) during class and I felt kinda stupid and left out being the only one not knowing. I managed to convince my mom to buy me Pokemon Black at the start of last summer and I loved it so much! But yeah. I was just thinking and kinda realized the main reason I wanted that game was so I could feel like I kinda belonged with them and so I could understand what they were talking about.
But whatever.
