Chapter 23:

*Chris's POV*

Myra, Kamaal, and I are sitting in the cafe talking and laughing. We discuss how our classes are going so far.

"Yall, this bitch in my Spanish class talks entirely too much for me!!! She was going off about how hard the class work was, and me winning the twerk contest."

"So what did you tell her?" Myra asks

"I told her to shutup and maybe she'll understand the work better."

"That's not nice Chris." Kamaal says as he laughs

"Well I tried to be as nice as possible, because she seems cool- when she's not talking."

"You probably hurt the poor girls feelings." Kamaal says 

"She'll be alright."

"She sounds like my psychology teacher Ms. Winters." Myra  says

"Yooo you got her too? Man she is boring as fuck!"

"I know right!"

'Well since we got the same class, let me get the homework for tonight." Kamaal says as he laughs

"You know what, Giselle asked me the same thing and I told her no. Y'all will have to pay me for my services."

"Lord, they put you and Giselle in the same class? They were fool enough to pair y'all as roommates." I say

"Bitch bite me."

"No thanks. Ain't no telling where Demetri touched you at."

"Haha. But Myra, I'm your best friends boyfriend. Doesn't that count for something?"

"Hell no."

"Let me get the homework or else I'll hold Chris hostage from you."

"That's fine, you can have him. I'm getting tired of him anyway." Myra says as she flips her hair

"Wow thanks bitch..."

"Aight where is Trey at?" Kamaal asks. "I'm getting hungry and I'm tired of waiting on his ass."

"Right!!! Chris where is your friend?" 

"Why is he always my friend when he's late?"

"Don't make me have to explain this to you again."

"Bitch, you ain't even did it the first time!"

"Chris don't make me stuff my foot halfway down your-"

"Hey!!! Both of y'all shutup before I take off my belt." Kamaal says coming between us 

Myra and I sink down in our seats like two little kids who got yelled at by their parents. Pretty soon, Trey walks in and sits down with us. We all stare at him.

"What?"

"Where the fuck you been at that's what." Myra asks

"Who cares? He's here. Now lets eat before I start flipping tables over."

"Calm your incredible hulk looking ass down." I say too Kamaal

We all get up and browse the random stations in the cafe. Myra and I make our way to the grill area.

"So Chris, you and Kamaal are about to hit one year. How does it feel?"

"I don't know. I'm happy that's all I can say."

"That's good....what do y'all have planned?"

"You know what, I thought we were gonna do something lowkey back at the dorm, but he has a whole weekend getaway planned for us."
