College Dreaming
Chapter 27*Kamaal's POV*
Chris finishes getting dressed and we head to the car. I really want this dinner to go smoothly mainly cause this one is important. I just want everything to be special. As we pull out the hotel, Chris grabs my hand and we vibe to the slow songs playin on the radio.
"So where are we gonna eat at?"
"You've been askin me that same question since we got here. What have I been tellin you since we left canpus.?"
"To not worry about anything and just enjoy it."
"Exactly bae. You trust me right?"
"Yeah I do."
"Aight then. Just sit your lil sexy ass back and let daddy do what it do."
"You know I'm never calling you daddy right?"
"Oh you will tonight. I told you that you're trouble this weekend."
"Mmhhmm we'll see about that."
I laugh a lil bit at Chris and focus my attention back to the road. A few minutes later we arrive at the restaurant.
*Chris's POV*
We pull up to this restaurant and Kamaal stops the car, and I get wide eyed, mainly because I've never heard of this place, and it looks pretty upscale. I look at Kamaal as he takes the key out the ignition.
"Just enjoy it bae."
I shrug my shoulders and nod my head. I grab Kamaal's hand and we walk inside the restaurant.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom right quick bae.'
Kamaal: Aight, I'll be right here.
I kiss Kamaal on the cheek and run inside of the bathroom.*Kamaal's POV*
We walk inside the restaurant and walk up to the podium where the hostess is standing.
"Good evening. What's the name under the reservation?"
"Its Jacobs."
"First name?"
"Kamaal. Kamaal Jacobs."
The hostess searches the computer for my reservation. After waiting a few minutes she grabs my attention.
"Umm Mr. Jacobs, I'm sorry, but I don't see a reservation here for you."
"Wait...are you sure? Can you check again?"
"Yes sir, give me a moment."
Chris walks out the bathroom dryin his hands with a paper towel. He approaches me and notices the nervousness on my face.
"I'm sorry sir, but I still can't find your name in the system."
"It's gotta be there. I called here last week and made it."
"Kamaal, is everything alright?"
I turn my attention to Chris. I can't let him see things aren't goin well.
"Uhhh yeah baby, everything is fine. Go sit down and let me find out wassup with our table."
"Bae if something is wrong, we can-"
"Chris don't worry. I got this."
Chris nods his head and walks out the door and sits on the bench. I watch him walk out and go back to the hostess.
*Chris's POV*
I walk outside and sit on a nearby bench. I hope everything is OK with the reservation. I dig my phone out my pocket and call Myra.
