*Myra's POV*

Giselle and I decided to take a break from doing homework, and get something to eat from a diner we saw the other day right down the street from campus. We ate here one time and became addicted to the food. I swear this place could give Waffle House a run for their money.

"Girl I'm so glad we found this place."

"Me too. I was getting tired of eating that cafeteria food." Giselle says

"Right!!! Shit I think I'm gaining weight from that food. I looked in the mirror and saw a pudge forming in my stomach."

"Looks like you're a victim of the "freshman fifteen."

"Uh uh, I'll be getting rid of this real soon. Plus my boo thang is coming real soon."

"Demetri is coming to visit?"

"He's coming to tour the campus is cause he's thinking about transferring out of community college next semester."

"Oh that's nice. No sex in our dorm." Giselle says

"Well you tell him that, because he told me once he gets here he's gonna destroy this pus-"

"Giirrrl TMI, I'm eating!!!"

Giselle and I continue talking and laughing and Giselle stops our conversation.

"Myra, look over by the counter."

I turn around and look toward the counter and notice this guy leaning against the counter while sneaking looks at me.

"Girl, he is checking you out!"

"I don't blame him. But I'm not worrying about him."

"Well you better start because he's coming this way."

"Girl stop lying!"

"Bitch, I'm as serious as a heart attack."

Giselle and I laugh and whisper like two high school girls. I can't lie, he was a cutie. Smooth caramel skin, brown eyes, will trimmed goatee, low wavy fade, and had a pretty boy thug appeal to him. Eventually the guy sits down across from me.

"Wassup gorgeous?"

Giselle and I chuckle to ourselves as the guy waits for me to respond. Giselle gives me a signal to go ahead and talk to him.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Of course I am. Who else would I be talkin to?"

"I mean, you could be talking to my homegirl who just so happens to be sitting right next to you if you haven't noticed."

The guy looks at Giselle and gives her a head nod, and Giselle waves at him.

"So what's your name?"

"I'm Myra, and you are?"

"I'm Tyshon, but my friends call me Ty."

"Nice to meet you Ty. This is my roommate Giselle."

"So what brings you ladies around here? I've never seen y'all here before."

"So I guess you come here often?"

:Somethin like that." Ty says as he laughs

"I guess you can say that. Well to answer your question, we were tired of the food on campus, and we just randomly found this place."

"Cool...what school do y'all go to?"

"Central Carolina."

"Well since you're close maybe we could hang out sometime."
