Chapter 10~ Missing
(Sky's POV)
"Hey Sky, Serena never came to breakfast and so far no one has seen her at all today. Lucas went and checked her room but she wasn't there--"
"Sky? Damien? You guys have got to come out here and see this." I gave Lucas a weird look as me and Damien followed him outside.
"Holy shit...." I pushed past Damien and Lucas only to stop walking almost instantly.
"Where did they all come from?" I asked Lucas.
"I don't know. I came out here and they were all just here." I looked around.
"How many are there?"
"The last time I checked there were over a couple of hundred of them easy, but more have been coming since then. Sky, do you think Serena could have done this? I mean she goes missing and then we have vampires coming out the ting yang." I ignored Lucas and stepped up to what seemed to be the leader of the group.
"Are you Sky?" I nodded
"And you are?"
"I am Cayden. We all came here to help you. From what we've heard you're planning on attacking the castle of the Head Vampires." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"How do you know about that?"
"Princess Serena. She came to our group and asked us if we'd be willing to help. You guys are going to need it too. From what I've heard Marcus and Sabrina have an army that's at least four hundred strong." Four hundred? Chances are it's only going to get bigger from there. We are going to have to attack soon if we even hope to have a chance of winning.
"Are there any more of you coming?" Cayden shrugged.
"We gathered as many people as we could. Right now there's about three hundred or so of us. There would have been more but the others have either joined Sabrina and Marcus or they've been killed by them and their new weapon."
"What do you mean "new weapon"?"
"There's a vampire that they have on their side. He was one of Dracula's children, Christian I think it was, but rumor has it that he's been injected with the blood of the Firsts. Making Christian stronger, faster, and all around more powerful than any vampire we've ever seen, including the Firsts. It's like he's some kind of new breed of vampire altogether." I nodded absentmindedly as I thought over the possible complications this could cause. Without Serena here we would have no way to effectively distract Christian. If worse comes to worse we'll have to take him down. It'll just be a challenge.
"I know what we have to do. We have maybe ten hours before sunrise. Damien, Lucas, get everyone else and bring them all here. Cayden, can you guys put up a good fight?" He looked around at the others behind him before nodding.
"What are you thinking, Sky?" I looked over to Lucius and the rest of my group.
"I'm thinking that we put our plan into action before they outnumber us to the point where there'd be no point in even trying. I'm thinking that with the help of Cayden and the others that we could win this thing. But to win, we're going to have to move soon. The question is, are you guys up for it?" Everyone looked to each other before looking to me. Slowly they all started to nod in approval.
"Alright, Lucius, can we split this group into two? One group will follow me so we can go over the plan and fit you guys into it. The second group will follow Lucius so he can go over your fighting and he can help you as much as he can in the little time that we have. Then after about a half an hour the two will switch. Now everyone split up." As the two groups parted I remembered the others of my group.
"Lissa, Mia, Adrian, and Aaron you guys join the group on the left. Karmin, Damien, Isabelle, Lucas, and Dustin you guys join the group on the right. Lucius why don't you go ahead and take your group, ok?" Lucius nodded as he led his group away. Alright, this is it. Serena still hasn't returned though. Now that she's gone though I can take my revenge. I'm coming for you Christian and I intend to have you dead at my feet.
