if you asked the y/l/n family what they spent the most amount of money on, it would definitely be concealer. used to cover the words on y/n's wrist that is.
the first words your soulmate ever says to you are on everyone's wrist, and y/n's happened to say "can you please get the fuck out of my way, jesus fucking christ, move bitch"
y/n's parents did not like that at all. for starters, they weren't fans of the explicitness of the statement, as well as how her soulmate refers to her as a bitch.
and that definitely made y/n mad too. she grew up having to wear makeup on her wrist so the other kids didn't see the cuss words, and her parents had to explain cussing to their fighter quite early.
because of the fact that concealer isn't permanent and has a tendency to rub off, y/n was homeschooled from kindergarten to sixth grade. when she finally turned thirteen, her parents decided to enroll her in public school, as cussing among thirteen year olds is much more common.
y/n entered school on her first day, the words on her wrist showing for the first time in public. she headed to her first class, and as she was walking, she ran into a group of boys arguing.
"c-can you just shut up richie! no one cares if
y-you aren't too in st-street fighter anymore." one of the boys snapped."it makes me seem like a million times less cool!" the other boy, presumably richie, replied angrily.
"you don't need any help when it comes to being less cool." a different, much shorter, boy fired back.
"shut your fucking mouth eddie." the richie kid huffed.
y/n decided she'd been creepily eavesdropping for too long and started hurrying towards where she assumed her first period was.
as she was walking past the boys, the richie boy stepped backwards right as she was about to walk past him. y/n rammed right into him, and he whipped his head around harshly.
"can you please get the fuck out of my way, jesus fucking christ, move bitch!" richie exclaimed.
y/n's eyes went wide before narrowing in anger. "are you fucking kidding me!" she exclaimed.
then richie's eyes went wide and he grabbed her wrist and saw the phrase he'd just said to her imprinted in his sloppy handwriting. y/n looked at richie's wrist and saw her handwriting, saying "are you fucking kidding me".
y/n laughed in relief and grinned. "i'm y/n, my parents don't like you very much." she joked.
