"Are you okay?" I hear a familiar voice say. "Yeah I'm okay." I heard Daniel say. "Good. I was really worried, bro." I heard another familiar voice say. "Me too." I heard a third familiar voice say. "Yeah. I missed you, bro." I heard a fourth familiar voice say. "Thanks guys. I missed you too." I heard Daniel say. I open my eyes and turn my head. I see four boys surrounding Daniels bed. My vision is a little blurry. I rub my eyes so I can see clearer. WAIT! AM I HALLUCINATING?! IS THAT THE WHY DONT WE BOYS?! I CANT BELIEVE THEYRE ALL HERE! They were the familiar voices! Daniel glances over at me. He smiles. "Hey." He said to me. I smile. "Hi." I said. "Guys, this is Riley. She was in the crash with me." Daniel said to the boys. "Hi, Riley. I'm Corbyn, this is Zach, Jonah and Jack." Corbyn said pointing to all the boys. "Nice to meet you." Zach said with a smile. I smile back. I'm trying to keep my cool. I'm pretending I'm not a fan. It wouldn't be a big deal if I was I just don't want that to be their first impression of me. That I'm just a fan. "Are you guys feeling okay?" Keri asked me and Daniel. "I'm fine, mom." Daniel said annoyed. "I'm okay." I said in a soft, quiet voice. "Okay. I'm just making sure." She said. I look out the window next to my bed as I listen to the boys talk. I wish I had a family that actually loves me. I wish I could have someone to talk to. I'm really lonely in here. I'm quiet the whole time the boys are in the room. When they leave, it's late at night. Tyler and Anna are about to go home. "Mom, you can go home too. You should go to sleep on a bed." Daniel said. "I'm not leaving." She said. "Mom, I know you're thinking about me right now but I'm thinking about you. Go home." Daniel said. Keri sighs. "Fine. But don't stay up all night." She said. "I won't." He said. She kisses him on the forehead. "Bye, baby. I love you." She said. "I love you too." He said. She looks at me. "Bye, Riley." She said. "Bye." I said in a soft voice. She walks out with Tyler and Anna and shits off the lights closes the door behind her. "Sorry so many people came in here today." Daniel said. "That's okay." I said. "No. I should've asked you first. I'm sorry." He said. "Why are you apologizing? You don't have to apologize for being loved. They're your family. Of coarse they're allowed in here without my okay. It's not just my room. It's our room." I said in a little rant. I barely talked all day. I need to let it all out. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said. It gets silent for a second. "So, your parents aren't coming?" He asked. "No. And I don't want them to." I said. "Why not?" Daniel asked. "Because they treat me like shit. I don't want to be treated like shit. I'd rather be the way I am now. Alone." I said. "You're not alone. You have me, remember? You also have my whole family. They love you." He said. OH MY GOD! HE JUST SAID THEY LOVE ME! I LOVE HIM! "Thanks." I said. "There's so much love in the world. Why not share it? There's enough to go around." He said. I get the biggest smile on my face. HES SO SWEET! I close my eyes. "Thank you." I said. "No, thank you." He said. I smile and fall asleep.
