I open my eyes and see Keri, Anna and Tyler sitting on the couch waiting for Daniel to wake up. My head is becoming less numb and it hurts really bad already. I try not to show I'm in pain. I look at the clock on the wall. It's 4:00pm. Wow. I slept that long? "Good morning." I hear. I turn my head and see Keri smiling. "Good morning." I said in a tired voice. My head hurts. I hear Daniel groan. "Good morning, baby." Keri said to him. She rubs his head as he wakes up. He opens his eyes and sees her. He makes a noise like he's in pain and holds his head. "OW! Mom!" He said. "What?! What's wrong?!" She asked, concerned. "It hurts!" He said in pain. Aww poor baby. I feel so bad for him. I hate seeing him in pain. Tears stream down his face. "It hurts!" He said. "Okay, calm down." She said rubbing his head. "Anna, go get the doctor." Tyler said. She runs out of the room. I just watch as it happens. I wish I could do something for him. Keri feels his head. "He's burning up." She said to Tyler. All of a sudden, Daniel puts his hands down and stops crying. "Daniel?" Tyler asked. He's still. All of a sudden, he starts shaking like crazy. He's having a seizure. "Daniel!" Her said trying to hold him still so he doesn't fall off the bed. His machine is beeping so much. The doctor walks in and sees he's having a seizure. He runs over to his bed and does some Doctor stuff. Daniel finally stops. He's passed out. Keri is crying. Tyler is hugging Anna because she's scared. I look at Daniel. He looks dead. "Is he okay?" I asked, concerned. The doctor looks at me and then at Keri and then back at me. "He'll be fine. We need to run tests though." The doctor said. "I mean, he looks....you know." I said. The doctor looks at him. "He's just tired. Seizures take a lot of energy from you." He said. "Oh." I said. I look at Daniel. Poor baby. Keri is still crying. I think she's scared. Tyler is still hugging Anna. I think they're scared too. "Everything will be okay. It's gonna be okay." The doctor said. The doctor walks out to run some tests. Keri stands at the side of Daniels bad and holds his hand. She rubs his head. "My poor baby." She said. She's crying less now but she's still crying a little. Anna and Tyler walk over to him and each hold one of his hands. A tear goes down my face. I quickly wipe it so they don't see. Seeing Daniel, my celebrity crush, have a seizure is scary for me because I genuinely love him. And I'm getting emotional because it's so cute how Daniels family cares about him so much. Like, I really love his families relationship.
Tyler gets a text. "Mom, is it okay if the boys stop by?" He asked. "I don't know if it's a good idea. Daniel is-" she said before Tyler cut her off. "Asleep. Daniels asleep. And they aren't coming just for Daniel, they're coming for us too. To comfort us." He said. Keri sighs. "Okay. But I don't want you guys to be too loud, okay. Daniel needs sleep." She said. "Okay." Tyler said. Then he texts them. I look at Daniel. He's so sound asleep that he looks dead. One of his arms are hanging off the bed a little and he's spread out over his bed because that's the position he was in after the seizure. He hasn't moved or woken up yet. I would think he was dead but I can hear him snoring.
A few minutes later, I hear the door open. I look and see the why don't we boys. I swear my heart drops every time I see them. They walk in and see Daniel looking dead. "Is he okay?" Zach asked. "He had a seizure." Tyler said. "Oh my god. Is he gonna be okay?" Jack asked. "The doctor is running tests." Anna said. Keri hasn't said a word since the boys walked in. She's just looking down at the floor. She looks really sad like she's about to cry. "Hey, buddy." Jonah said rubbing his arm. He's still sound asleep. "When is he gonna wake up?" Corbyn asked. "I don't know. We're just gonna let him sleep." Tyler said. They all just look at him for a minute. "I feel so bad for him." Zach said. "Me too." Jack said. It's silent in the room. Corbyn looks at me. "And what about you? Are you doing okay?" He asked. My head hurts and I'm very dizzy. "Yes. Im okay." I said. He comes and sits in the couch next to my bed. "You don't have any family here for you?" Corbyn asked. Him getting up close to me is making me want to just scream. I love him so much! "They aren't coming." I said. "Why not?" He asked. "Because...they just aren't." I said. "Who's gonna be here for you, then?" Corbyn asked. I look at Daniel. He's still passed out. If he's not here for me, then who is? I'm all alone. "Well, we're here if you need someone to talk to." He said noticing that I have no one. I smile. "Thank you." I said. He smiles. "Of coarse. We all need someone, right?" He said. I nod my head. All the boys walk over to me. "We're staying the night so if you need us, we'll be here." Jonah said. OH MY GOD! THEY SO FRICKEN SWEET?! HOW ARE THEY EVEN REAL?! THEY ARE SO PERFECT! "Why are you guys being so nice to me?" I asked. "Because you were in an accident too." Zach said. "Yeah." Jack said. I smile. "Well, thanks. You guys don't have to do that for me, though." I said. "Of coarse we will. You seem really great." Corbyn said. OH MY GOD! I smile. I look at Daniel. He literally looks dead. He's snoring though so I know he's not dead. It looks like he's barely breathing. "I hope he's better." I said. "I'm sure he'll be fine. He's Daniel Seavey, my best friend. He needs to get through this." Jonah said. Then, the doctor walks in. "Do you have the results?" Tyler asked, nervously. "Yes I do." He said. He sits down. "Daniel has a fever. The brain surgery made the fever worse and that caused the seizure." The doctor said. "So there's nothing wrong with him?" Anna asked. "No." The doctor said. Anna smiles. She stands up from the couch and stands next to Daniels bed. She kisses him on the forehead. A tear goes down her face. "He's gonna be okay?" She asked. The doctor nods. "He will be." The doctor said. Tyler stands up and gives Daniel a hug even though he's passed out. All the boys do the same. I really wanna hug all of them and kiss them but I can't. I feel so bad for Daniel. He looks so tired. "I will check in later." The doctor said. He walks out. Keri still hasn't said a word. "Keri?" I said. She looks up from the ground. It silent in the room. Everyone is listening. "Are you okay?" I asked. She looks at me and just starts balling her eyes out. "What's wrong, mom?" Anna asked. She doesn't say anything. She just cries. "Mom, what's wrong?" She asked again. She looks at Anna. "I can't handle this! I need to talk to him! I need to talk to my little boy!" She said, balling. "You can when he wakes up." Anna said putting her hand on keris shoulder. Keri pushes it off. "What if he doesn't wake up?!" She yelled. Anna looks at her, madly and stands up. "I can't believe you just said that!" She yells. She storms off and out of the room. "I'll talk to her." Tyler said. He walks out of the room. Keri is still crying. "It's okay, Keri. He's going to be fine. Everything will be okay." Jonah said as he hugs Keri. She cries into his shoulder. He's rubbing her arm as he hugs her, trying to comfort her. She's still balling. I look at the door and see Anna and Tyler having a deep conversation. Then, Anna starts crying. Tyler holds her and is talking to her. I feel bad for them. They've been through a lot and stayed so strong through it all. Keri stops crying and Jonah let's go if her. Anna wipes her tears and walks back into the room with Tyler. She walks in, not even looking at her mother, and sits on the couch next to my bed. I look at her wiping her tears as they fall gently on her face. She's so beautiful. "Are you okay?" I asked gently. She looks at me and sniffs. "Yeah. I just get so worked up sometimes you know? Like, she shouldn't have said that." Anna said. I nod my head letting her know that I'm listening. "Well, what if it's true!" Keri yelled across the room because she heard Anna. "Mom, that's enough! You need to either leave or stop acting like a child!" Tyler yelled. He never yells. Keri gets up and walks out. Anna starts balling her eyes out again. I open my arms. She sits on the bad and then lays down next to me, crying. I give her a big hug. I feel so bad. Tyler opens the door and yells to Keri down the hallway. "You're just gonna walk away like dad did!" He yells. She doesn't reply. He walks back in and paces back and forth because he's so mad. "I can't do this anymore. My parents are fucking assholes!" He said. He's try to keep his cool. "Dude, just calm down. Everything will be okay." Jack said. Tyler takes a deep breath and sits down calming down. Anna is still laying on my bed, balling her eyes out. I'm rubbing her back and her head trying to make her feel better. EVERYTHING IS CHAOS! Everyone is crying and yelling and it's reminding me of back home. Instead of having another panic attack, I'm gonna just take deep breaths and they to comfort Anna and Tyler because I know what it's like. "Is Keri gonna come back?" Zach asked. "I think she will. She would never leave Daniel alone in a hospital. He's her favorite child." Tyler said. It's seems like he is too. Anna is calming down a little. I'm still rubbing her back and head. She closed her eyes. Her head is laying on my chest. I look at Daniel. Corbyn is sitting next to him and holding his hand. He's so sweet! "It's okay, bud. She'll come back." He said to Daniel.
A few minutes later, Anna fell asleep on me. It's very dark outside. The why don't we boys are still here. They are gonna sleep here tonight. Daniel is still asleep. I hope he wakes up soon. I'm very tired but I want to stay awake until the boys go to sleep. I want to spend every single minute with them because I love them so much! Tyler keeps texting his mom. She doesn't answer. Corbyn walks over to me and looks at Anna. "Are you going to sleep too?" He asked. I shake my head. "Everything will be fine. Get some sleep." He said. I am tired. I nod my head and close my eyes. Anna's head laying on my chest is actually comfortable believe it or not. I close my eyes and fall asleep listening to the boys talk.
