Corbyns POV:
"Riley." I said. She looks at me. Her color is off. "You look green." I said. I feel her forehead. "You're burning up." I said. She looks like she's gonna throw up. "Are you gonna be sick?" I asked. "Yeah." She said. I grab her hand and start walking. "Okay. There's a bathroom over here." I said. We were almost there but then she grabs a garbage can and start puking in that. It's a lot too. "Oh god." I said holding her hair back. I let go of her hand and rub her back because I know she's uncomfortable. All the boys and Keri see her. When she's done, I ask her if she's okay but then she pukes again. She won't stop puking. She must really be sick. She walks to the water fountain nearby. Daniel goes with her. "I knew she didn't look okay." Jack said. "She told me she felt sick this morning. I should've stayed home with her." I said. We walk walk over to them. We all start walking. I see Riley take a step and almost fall down. "Are you okay?" I asked grabbing her arm so she doesn't fall. "Yeah. I'm just dizzy." She said. She tired to take another step and almost falls down. She seems so out of it. Like, she's not awake. Her eyes are barely opened. "Here." I said. I pick her up and she wraps her arms and legs around me. "Thanks." She said. "Your welcome." I said. She lays her head on my shoulder. I rub her back. I know she's gonna fall asleep because she seemed so tired. So I better walk around a lot so she doesn't have to stand.
When the boys finally find a ride, they wait in line. Riley hasn't moved in a while so she's probably asleep. I stand by the entrance of the ride as I hold Riley. I rub her back as she gently breathes in my ear. She's not heavy at all. I've been holding her for 5 minutes now.
When the boys and Keri get off the ride, they stand by me at the entrance taking a break from walking for a bit. "Should we go home?" Jonah said rubbing her back for a second. "She's asleep. She's fine here." I said. If we go home, we would have to wake her. And I don't want to wake her. The way she's breathing, she sounds so peaceful. "Okay. Then let's go on some more rides." Jack said. We start to walk. Riley isn't getting heavy yet. We look around and try to find another ride. When they find another ride to ride, they get in line and I wait by the entrance again. Riley is still sound asleep. I feel her breathing on my neck. She feels dead. Her arms are hanging over her sides. I'm holding her legs so she doesn't fall off of me.
Two hours later, the boys have finally rode all of the rides. The lines were not that long but not too short either. When they get off of the last ride, we start to walk. "That was so fun!" Zach said. "I know right! We should go here another time." Jack said. "Yeah we should." Jonah said. "Thanks for taking us, mom." Daniel said. Keri smiles. "Your welcome, baby." She said to him. The walk to the car is a long way. Like, 10 minutes. Riley still isn't heavy after 2 hours. She's very light. She's still sound asleep though. I feel so bad for her.
When we get to the car, Keri unlocks the door. Jonah and jack sit in the way back of the car and Keri and Daniel sit in the way front. I rub Riley's back a little trying to wake her up. She's sound asleep. I pat her back. "Riley." I said. She moves and groans while I'm still holding her. "I'm gonna our you down, okay? Then you can go back to sleep. As I'm going to put her down, she starts throwing up all over to ground. I quickly put her down and hold her hair back. It's a lot too. It's everywhere. Thank god it's not on my shoes though. When she's done, I let go of her hair. I'm still holding onto her arm so she doesn't fall. "You okay?" I asked her. She nods. She looks around and notices that she's in the parking lot. "I thought you guys were going on rides." She said in a voice they sounded like she was sleep talking. "We did. You fell asleep." Jonah said in the back seat. She rubs her eyes. "Oh." She said. She looks so confused like she didn't know that she fell asleep. "Get in." I said to her. She slowly gets in. I get in next to her. She lays her head back and closes her eyes. Keri look back at her and then at me. She smiles with a look saying 'you're such a good friend for taking care of her'. I smile. Keri starts the car and we start to drive. I look at Riley. I put my arm around her. She opens her eyes and looks at me. "You want a pillow?" I asked. She smiles weakly and nods. She lays down on me and I stroke her hair. I feel so bad for her.
Half an hour later, we get home. I shake Riley to wake her up. She opens her eyes slowly. "We're home." I said as all the boys were getting out of the car. I unbuckle my seat belt and get out of the car. Riley unbuckles hers and looks at me with her arms out. I smile and pick her up like I did at the amusement park. She lays her head on my shoulder as we walk into the house. All the boys sit on the couch and watch tv. It's 8:00. As I'm carrying her, I walk into the bathroom. "Are you gonna be sick again?" I asked. I put her down and she puked. I knew she would. When she's done, I pick her up again and bring her into her room. I lay her down, gently, in my bed. Her eyes are closed as I cover her with the blankets to her neck. I rub her head and kiss her on the forehead. I turn off the light. As I'm about to walk out of the room, i hear Riley say my name. I turn around and look at her. "Thanks." She said. I smile and close the door. I confide to smile as I walk into the living room. Why do I feel all warm inside? It doesn't make any sense. I sit next to the boys and watch tv with them. I think about how pretty Riley is. She's so pretty and funny and sweet and kind. She's amazing. OH NO! I THINK IM CATCHING FEELINGS! BUT RILEYS DATING DANIEL! MY BEST FRIEND! OH NO! WHAT DO I DO?
