I wake up hearing a weird noise. I open my eyes and see Daniel shaking. "Daniel?" I asked. He's the one making the noise. I think he's having a seizure. I jump out of bed and turn on the light. DANIEL IS HAVING A SEIZURE! OH MY GOD! WHAT DO I DO?! I run back over to the bed as a tear falls down my face. "Corbyn!" I yell as I shake him. He opens his eyes. "What?!" He asked wondering why I was shaking him so much. "It's Daniel." I said. He looks at Daniel and sees him shaking. "Oh my god I think he's having a seizure." Corbyn said. "What do we do?!" I asked scaredly. "Call 911." Corbyn said. I pick up my phone from the nightstand and dial 911. "911, what's your emergency?" I hear on the other line. "My friend is having a seizure." I said trying to be calm. I can't breathe. "Okay. Where are you right now?" The lady asked. I told her the address. "I'll send an ambulance." She said. We hang up the phone. I look at Daniel. Corbyn is sitting in the bed with him. "Go get his mom and dad." He said. I nod and run out if the room and into Keri's. "Keri!" I said. She jumps awake. "What's wrong?!" She asked knowing something's wrong. "Daniel is having a seizure! The ambulance is coming!" I said freaking out. I've never seen anyone having a seizure before. It's scary. "Oh my gosh!" She said. She runs out if her room and into corbyns where Daniel is. "Daniel!" She said. She runs over to him and holds him. "It's gonna be okay." She said to him as he seized. He probably can't hear her but she wants him to know that he'll be okay.
I hear the ambulance pull up to the house. I run out into the living room and open the door. Two men come to the door. "He's in the room down the hallway to the right." I said. The two men nod and run into the house with a stretcher. Jeff wake up. "What's happening?" He asked standing up from the couch. "Daniel is having a seizure. The ambulance is here." I said. I hear footsteps running towards me. I turn around and see the two doctors running as they carry Daniel in the stretcher. He's still seizing. They run outside and put him into the ambulance. Keri and Jeff get into the back of the ambulance with him. "Stay here, Riley. I'll call you when you guys can come to the hospital." She said. I nod really wanting to go with but knowing I can't. I wipe the tear on my face and close the door. Corbyn walks out of Jonah, jack, and Zach's room from waking them up. They follow him. "Did they leave?" Corbyn asked. I nod, sad that he's in gone. A tear falls down my face. "Aww don't cry." Zach said. That makes me cry even more. He gives me a hug and rubs my back. "He's gonna be okay." Jack said as Zach releases me from the hug. "I'm scared." I said, crying. "I know you're scared. I'm scared. But we gotta be strong for him, okay?" Jonah said. I nod. Jonah opens his arms and gives me a big hug. His hugs are the best. He releases me from the hug but he's still holding onto my hands. He looks me in the eyes. "Wipe those tears." He said. He lets go if one of my hands and wipes my tears. I wipe them after him and smile. He always makes me feel better.
An hour later, we're all sitting on the couch waiting for Keri's call. I keep checking my phone to see if she called or texted. I check the time too. Its 4:00 now. I'm exhausted but I can't sleep because I don't want to miss the call and not be able to see Daniel. We all just watch tv. I look at all the boys. They look tired too. I sigh. Then, I feel my phone buzz. I pick it up quickly and check who it is. ITS KERI!! "HELLO?" I asked anxiously. "Hi, Riley." She said not sounding too happy. "Can we come?" I asked calmly now realizing I was a little too forward before. "Yes you can." She said. "Okay. We'll be there in 5." I said. We hang up. "Come on. We're going to see Daniel." I said to the boys. They bolt off the couch and put on their shoes. We all get into the car and drive to the hospital.
