Heartbreak

Marinette's POV

Me and Chat Noir landed on top of the Agreste mansion. The roof had small glass windows so we could kind of see what was going on inside. I secretly looked into one of the windows to see what Adrien was doing, until I heard a voice behind me clearing his throat. "Yes kitty?" I rolled my eyes. "Why are you looking in the window?" Chat asked, "Oh well now you think I'm weird great, well the truth is, I have a crush on the boy who lives here, and well, I want to make sure he's alright..." I said nervously. Chat gave my an understanding look and we carried on with our patrol.

Adrien's POV

I was on the rooftop of my mansion, when Ladybug said she had a crush on the boy who lived inside.. Aka, ME. Ladybug has a crush on me! I winked and said "Don't worry, your secrets safe with me..". We jumped off my roof and continued on with our patrol.
*1 hour later*
We had just finished the patrol and landed back on the Eiffel Tower. Since neither of us has used our lucky charm or cataclysm, we didn't have to detransform anytime soon. It was close to midnight, and we were the only ones there... I saw beautiful, red rose bush on the ground, near the Eiffel Tower. I told Ladybug I would be right back and jumped on the Eiffel Tower, extending my stick, and landing on the group, purr-fectly on my feet as all cats do. I picked a wonderful rose from the bush, even thought there were a few thorns, and went back to Ladybug. When I arrived at the top, she was leaning on the railing, the opposite side that I was on, and I assumed she was enjoying the view. She was awfully quiet so it kind of worried me, but she seemed to be alright. I tiptoed towards her, and she must of heard me because without looking at me once, she said "Chat Noir your back... I have to go, my parents might come into my room.. Goodnight, Kitty.." and with that she swung her yo-yo and went off into the night.. I dropped the Rose i has picked for her, not having the chance to give it to her, and made my way back home, A single tear rolling down my cheek...
