You were sat on the bench against the wall, admiring Tom as he stared at himself in the large mirror. He extended his arms out; something that he often did to clear his mind. The two of you always loved to dance together, but you always enjoyed watching him dance solo.
"I know you're about to do your iconic spin, and I'm ready to emotionally die," you muttered, smiling up at the boy who owned your heart.
Tom laughed, looking down at you with a twinkle in his eyes before starting to spin around in circles.
After feeling as if he had been turning for hours, he stopped in front of you, extending a hand. Tom often loved to dance with you, even when you were convinced that you were horrible at it.
"I love you with all my heart, and I hope you'll dance with me?" He asked, knowing you were going to say yes as soon as a single syllable came out of his lips. You gracefully nodded, taking his hand and standing up from your seat on the hardwood floor.
"I think it's safe to say we'll be set for our first dance," you joked, taking a quick glance at the beautiful engagement ring on your left hand. "I love you, spiderboy."
