waiting for peter was like waiting for the sunrise. you often stayed to see it, but it felt like eternity. considering it was well past midnight, you took it upon yourself to cuddle your body up with his bed's blankets.
you and peter had planned to finish up a project early so you had time to revise and study for the test that followed, but as per usual, he was nowhere to be found. you debated on leaving and going back to your apartment, but the feel of the warm blankets hugging your body was too comforting to leave.
you could feel your eyelids beginning to get heavier, but your tired-state was interrupted by the sound of peter's bedroom window sliding open. your eyes were locked on it, watching as it shut by itself.
surely, you had to be dreaming as soon as you saw your boyfriend on the ceilingーthere was just no possible way. things felt entirely real when his eyes locked with yours.
❝y/n! what are you doing here!❞he whisper yelled, not wanting to wake his aunt up at midnight. only a few seconds passed before he pinched the bridge of his nose, remembering the plans you had once made. ❝I am so sorry, I'm an idiot.❞
you tiredly nodded, a small yawn coming out of your lips. ❝mmhm, but I'm way too tired to even ask. just cuddle me to sleep, parker.❞
