You and Peter had just about talked through the entire flight to Europe, except for the part when you both managed to fall asleep. Apparently Ned and Betty managed to capture about a thousand photos of your head on Peter's shoulder and his head resting on you yours.
What you were unaware of was the fact that Peter had Ned send one of the photos, and already set it as his phone's background. The two of you were the best of friends, so barely anything was considered odd, and certainly not this.
Ripples echoed as you softly dragged your fingers through the glistening water. Much like everyone else, you were admiring the beautiful city and it's breathtaking views. The architecture of the entire city mesmerized you. So much, that it had taken you almost the entire ride that someone's eyes were on you.
Breaking your gaze from the water and surrounding buildings, you turned around. Immediately, your eyes met none other than Peter's.
You smiled at him, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. He gave you a small wave, even though he was only a few inches away.
MJ quickly took notice of the exchange of smiles and nudged you in the stomach ーagain.
"What is it with you and punching people in the stomach?" You laughed, trying to hide the small amount of pain you were in.
She raised her eyebrows at you with a small smile on her lips. There was no need for you to ask her what she was referring to. Frankly, most of the group was slightly fed up with how you and Peter endlessly flirted but neither of you had asked the other on a date.
Rolling your eyes, you let out a sigh before turning towards Peter. "So, I, uh.."
"Would you wanna go out? Like, tonight? You, me?" He asked, a hint of pink appearing on his face quickly.
Thankfully, everyone's attention was on the sights of the city, along with Ned and Betty's hilarious commentaries. You smiled, giving a hint or hope to him.
"I'd love to, Peter."
"He did it! He finally asked the girl of his dreams out!" Ned yelled, throwing his hands in the air for his best friends.
