Peter had liked you for a long time, and with a little encouragement, Ned believed it was his time to shine. He nudged Peter's shoulder and pointed towards the bell.
In no time, Peter was ringing the bell. You curiously looked up, eyes connecting with Peter's.
"W-will you go on a, uh, date with m-me? I mean, you don't have to. Only if you want to, I mean we can go to-"
"I'd love to, Peter." You smiled, a slight blush rising to both of your faces.
