It seemed as if Peter's whole world stood still whenever he felt he was needed for his Stark Internship. Even when one of the most important days was swiftly approaching, it all stopped when he heard his phone buzzing in his jacket pocket.
❝My God, Peter. You can't just expect me to be here when you leave me alone.. and this time in the middle of Central Park!❞ you frantically ran your fingers through your hair, completely fed up with your boyfriend.
The anger in your eyes had quickly subsided and was replaced with worry, your brain reminding you of how the two of you were going into different directions.
Peter could easily tell what you were going to say, seeing your body tense up and eyes fill with tears. He swiftly placed both hands on your shoulders, causing your sad gaze to meet his brown eyes.
❝y/n, please. I'm sorry, so so sorry. I promise you that if you let me take you out to dinner I'll explain everything and anything to you. I don't want you to break because of me.❞ he pleaded, waiting for an answer to his proposition.
