❝you're an idiot, peter,❞ you shook your head, sifting through your backpack for the first aid kit that you kept in there specifically for him.
the poor teenage boy had shown up to your window with a few cuts and bruises on his face, so, you immediately started to help him. however, he didn't seem fazed about his injuries in the tiniest bit, playing with the watch on his wrist.
❝but you love me, so it all works out,❞ he chuckled, flopping back onto your pillows. you cringed, wondering how he could not be wincing from the pain. although, he had claimed that his pain tolerance was pretty high for being a partial spider.
you sat down next to him, a bunch of bandaids in your hand. ❝you have to be more careful. I know you're saving the world and stuff, but I want to go to homecoming with youーpreferably uninjured.❞
peter's eyebrows raised, wondering if his ears were just playing tricks on him, or that you really did just say that you wanted to go to homecoming with him. you immediately froze, realizing what you had just said. a weak smile fell on your face, feeling a sense of awkwardness enter the room.
❝well then, looks like I'm going to have to start thinking of a homecoming proposal. I-I mean I've had ideas months ago but I have to finalize things. Alright, I'm going to stop talking now.❞ peter stated, brushing a piece of your hair behind your ear.
